And Terrance Williams (1-8 FG, -10 +/- tonight) deserves playing time over him? Can someone please explain why McHale continues to give Budinger DNP-CDs? This is six now if I'm counting correctly.

I'm a Budinger fan, but tonight McHale gave other people a chance to show what they could do. I don't have a problem with it.

McHale didn't like Bud's effort in the dunk contest. He clearly did not outwork his talent in that competition.

One night is fine I guess. This is six nights now where McHale felt that we were better without Budinger playing a single minute.

... so we were worried about Budinger getting torched by Caron Butler?

Budinger has a 56% True FG%, Martin is 57%, only slightly better. He should be playing. He actually needs to play more with Parsons.

The rockets play substantially better defense with chase on the floor. Budinger only has a negative impact when he's forced to play with Kevin Martin, Martin himself is bad all the time defensively.

McHale should play a 10 man rotation and cut Martin's minutes, he hurts the team. I would get rid of him all together.

I was wondering the same thing. I was scratching my head when I saw T-Will in the game.

Can't we just waive T-Will and get rid of his constant nagging for PT?

I'm praying that the speculation that we're showcasing T-Will is correct. Really looking forward to the Rockets post-trade deadline when Martin and hopefully some of these 2009 lottery busts are gone. More PT for Lee and Budinger is a plus.
