Send Flynn to OKC for Aldrich ? they get a backup PG (Maynor's stil out for the season yes ?), save some money, and we get a young C with defensive abilities ...

How about Martin, Scola, TWill for Ellis, Udoh and Wright?

I thought about adding Ellis, but I don't really love the idea. He doesn't play much more defense than Martin, he's very undersized, and I'm not sure he'd work so well with Lowry. He's pretty much a ball-stopper, and doesn't have quite the all-star talent level he needs to be worth stopping the ball for.

That said, if it would convince Dwight to sign here then I'm all for it.

He would be our best option as a closer. I can't imagine he'd be worse defensively. We would have another creator in the lineup.

Udoh, Sam, Pat, Smith would be great defensively. Wright would be a good option as a small ball PF who can shoot instead of Parsons or SF with size who can shoot.

I was thinking of the same deal minus TWill & Wright, but with maybe a second from us.

I always thought Monta was part of the reason GSW was so bad all these seasons with him. He gets so many of his points from run and gun transition play, he hardly plays any D, he's inefficient in a half court set. He puts up numbers but he doesn't help his team win. I'm not convinced he's an upgrade over Martin to be honest. They're about the same level player and I suspect Martin actually fits better alongside Lowry since he doesn't demand the ball so much and is better in a half court set.

I would want Ellis if he brought us Dwight Howard in free agency... but would he? I kind of doubt it, but that is for Morey to know.

Ugh, Monta jacks up 4.3 three pointers per game and hits less than 30% of them. That would get old REAL fast.

The quote tht GS 'doesnt feel they can get a fair deal from us' is classic! DM's rep proceeds him! lol!

That said, obviouly KMart for Ellis is a good move...I'd be willing to add Bud or a 2nd rd as a sweetner...

Happy to give them a deal on Scola... presume they wouldnt want to move Lee... But I'd take a shot on Udoh... swap expiring bu centers (JHill/Kwame) to make salaries match... or Bud vs an expiring... not prob adding a 2nd rd pick... I'm not versed enough on Udoh to add the NY pick - but maybe...

Celtics get: Kevin Martin, Goran Dragic, combination of picks.
Lakers get: Kyle Lowry, Luis Scola
Rockets get: Pau Gasol, Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley.

Almost all of these guys have been shopped.

Celtics get a shooting guard to replace Ray Allen and a young replacement PG plus draft picks as they attempt to rebuild.

Rockets get long desired 2 way player in the front court, a replacement PG for Lowry.

Lakers get young talented PG they need and a reasonable replacement for Pau at PF.

If you are getting Rajon Rondo back as well? I mean, there is no way we are getting Gasol *and* Rondo back, but these are two all stars for three decent players. I do that deal every time.

    2 trades...
    First

    Houston Gets: Gasol and Goudelock
LAL Get: Mo Williams and Scola
    LAC Get: Kevin Martin

Rockets get star in Gasol, LAL get PG in Williams and replacement for Gasol in Scola, LAC get SG in K-Mart and have Bledsoe at back up PG now.

    Then

Houston gets: Crawford, Thomas, and Babbitt
Portland gets: T-Will, Flynn, and Hill

Rockets get a scorer to replace Martin with Crawford. Portland is exploding apparently and Crawford is talking his way out. They get young prospects/expiring contracts.

    Houston Depth
    C: Dalembert/Thomas/Smith/Thabeet
    PF: Gasol/Patterson/Morris
    SF: Parsons/Budinger/Babbitt
    SG: Lee/Crawford
    PG: Lowry/Dragic/Goudelock
