If Kaman, Scola, Patterson and Dalembert are in the backcourt then I am truly concerned for this teams future! Lol!!!

the trade that needs to happen is this.

    Pau to houston

    rondo/scola to lakers

Martin and either draft picks and Darius Morris (belive thats the lakers pg rookie) to celtics

Celts would obviously have to get our no 1 or dragic or lakers no 1...I mean something but it could work with that being the main pieces.

Then the celtics could either deal allen or wait for allen and garnets money to come off the books next year and look to build that way.

Gerald Wallace could get us out of the first round of the playoffs this year.

I honestly think they will persue Kaman hard and thats really it......I wouldnt mind Wallace but we would really need to clear a few spots to take him and his contract on.I say trade T Will/Bud and keep Parsons and Morris...

I could see the Rockets being very competitive with this line-up...

    Lowry----Dragic?/Flynn
    Martin----Lee
    Wallace----Parsons/Morris
    Scola-----PatP/Smith
    Kaman----Dale/Smith

and with a deep bench i think this team would shock ALOT OF TEAMS....

This is of course giving the 09' crew their pink slips.....also picks/players to get Wallace

I love the lineup but it would be next to impossible in acquiring Wallace and Kaman with out giving up a combo of Martin/Lee+Scola/Pat. Unless we have a fat trade exception?

I still really like Gerald Wallace. He is like having Parsons with a offensive game that is better and better at freethrows.

Man, that would be one heck of a defensive front line. Throw in Rondo at the 1, and whomever at the 2, and you would be puttin' some teams on major lockdown.

    Broussard on the pregame show:

Says the Lakers should accept Martin, Dragic, Scola and maybe the NY pick for Gasol. "That's a pretty good package." Asked if that's what's being offered, says that's what Houston was willing to trade earlier.

    ...

Clippers were offered Jamal Crawford for Eric Bledsoe. They declined. ... Clippers have their eye on Ray Allen.

    ...

Howard - People think NY could get him if they offer Melo and Chandler. Knicks dont want to make any calls unless they know they can get it done. They dont want their stars names in trade rumors.

    ...

Rondo can be had. Celtics arent getting offers they like. Dont think anything gets done there.

Rondo value is not as good as the Celtics would like it. His lack of shooting makes it tough for teams to trade for him.

Would a short backcourt be worth it?

I've long thought Wallace would be one of the best moves the team could make. Great two-way player. He could really make a difference for the Rockets. Problem is that $11.4 million.

I've believed our team is good this year, but not worth while as we have no shot in theplayoffs, just live in mediocrity. But if we get that lineup(Lowry, Martin, Wallace, Scola, Kaman) even without a bonafide star, that is probably one of the better, most well rounded line ups in the league. That lineup under adelman would be scary in the playoffs because they are all sort of underrated or not talked about, but very solid and all capable of doing a lot.

the only star I see is Dwight howard. Curry and Ellis play no D. isn't that why some get their panties all bunched up? Curry just plays the passing lanes, gives up as much as he scores. I'd give up everyone for Howard but then, why would he resign with us? I guess try Gasol una vez mas.but in three years we will be back to the this spot, starting threads why gasol is overpaid at age 34 and how he has declined. =/

The only teams in the league that would stand a chance against that team is Miami and possibly the Thunder.

All of those players are all-stars or all-star caliber. If the Rockets had a lineup, like that maybe the fans would actually want to watch some of the games.

It's not jus espn - its prob half the people on this board... 'let's give the Lakers cap relief and help them get a pg so they can kick our a$$e$ for another couple decades, while we harness ourself with payin a third of our cap to a 31, 32 and then 33 year old wuss...' lol

...and peple b**** about being 'trapped on a treadmill of mediocrity'... yeh, Pau Gasol is the answer...lol
