    HOU gets
    Rajon Rondo
    Kevin Garnett

    BOS gets
    Kyle Lowry
    Luis Scola
    Jordan Hill
    Marcus Morris
    1st Round Pick (2012)

I'm not sure how the salaries work out, but do you all think Boston would take a hard look at this?

Apparently he has been asking out of Atlanta for awhile.

He doesn't suck and he plays big because he has great athleticism. And he's only 26. He blocks more shots than many centers.

Trade Martin for Pekovic like I keep suggesting :p I still don't know if Minny would go for it, but I'd love a Smith/Pekovic frontline with a Lowry/Lee back court knocking down open J's.

Much as I'd love to keep Martin (and Lee's going to want to get paid), I'd love to get Pekovic. Pekovic/Dalembert would be sweet! I'd do it. I'm still figuring out Smith's game, but I'm glad he's getting some time to show us what he can do at this level. Minnie may not want to, though, although i can imagine Adelman jonesin' for Kevin.

Good point about the offensive competence of Smith and Dally. They would be horrible offensively.

I'm wondering if Dally and Scola would net us Smith and then we play Smith and Smith together if we can't acquire Kaman, Lopez, or another big.

They have too many bigs. They're looking to move birdman. Koufos is expiring. They don't have a go-to post option. They're bigs can't spread the floor.

I don't think we should trade martin. Trade Scola and get a better 3. See if we can pick up kaman.

If we could somehow get Wallace at the 3 and Pau at the 4 without giving up K-mart or Lowry I think were golden.

    Three Way Team-Trade.

Houston sends out: Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Jordan Hill

Houston Gets: Chris Kaman,Eric Gordon, Kris Humphries

New Jersey Sends Out: Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries

New Jersey Gets: Luis Scola,Jordan Hill

New Orleans sends out: Chris Kaman,Eric Gordon

New Orleans Get: Kevin Martin, Brook Lopez

    Salaries work on trade machine

and probably throw a pick to either Jersey or NO for some sweetness

    Future Lineup:

    Lowry/Dragic/Flynn
    Gordon/Lee/Morris
    Parsons/Budinger/Williams
    Patterson/Humphries
    Dalembert/Kaman/Thabeet/Smith

Kaman,Gordon,Humphries all have one year left on contracts, if we like em give em new contracts.Personally makes me feel like we are a better team.

NO gets two good players in Kevin Martin, and Lopez, and prob throw our pick in or an 09er.

probably only issue is Jersey not doing it just for Scola and Jordan Hill, so giving them the NY pick or an 09er that they feel may help them might help them want to do the trade sense I feel D-Will wont be there next year.

    Thoughts?

Also this is my first post so what up? and also wanted to do this trade since I feel we will match up with the Clippers in the playoffs so theres a good drama in the playoffs between a Houston/Clippers series. Which would be fun to watch to see if Gordon and Kaman would go off on them.

I have a feeling that if Phoenix entertained a trade like this, they'd demand someone take one of their less favorable contracts such as Channing Frye or Josh Childress.

If they blow it up to that extent I think it would a) take a huge haul b) would signify they wouldn't want Martin. I think they'd be looking for younger, longer-term assets.

    + Knicks first rounder
+ LA first rounder (we might have to add Budinger to the LA side of the deal)
+ the rights to Sergio Llull to be their PG of the future.

I don't know if the Phoenix front office has the wisdom to blow things up to that extent. They should, but will they? I doubt it.

Now, from our perspective, that's a lot of young assets to give up for Gasol + Gortat, but on the flip side, a starting lineup like this:

    Lowry/Dragic
    Martin/Lee
    Parsons/?
    Gasol/Motiejunas
    Gortat/Motiejunas

    That's pretty sick.

I originally had Bud going to the Lakers as well, but it worked without him so I got greedy lol. I think Phoenix would have to get a PG back so I included Dragic. There would definitely have to be picks going as well. It would be crazy if a trade like that happened and we still had some expirings/young talent to get Kaman as well.

I don't think they'd want Dragic back. He used to play there remember.
