Good, they support a lot of objectionable causes. I don't patronize them anymore for the same reasons, either.
They are a private company and can have whatever views they want, and the college can boot them off campus if they want, don't see any issues here. Whenever I get chickfila I call one of my gay friends and apologize with a mouth full of delicious delicious waffle fries.
not so cleverly disguised anti-Christian post they give to Marriage & Family Legacy Fund and the Fellowship Of Christian Athletes??!?!?!? What awful people!!
Their food is fine and all, but wtf why does every Chik Fil A I pass have a line like they got the last live chicken on Earth and they're getting ready to fry him up?
By supporting groups that are bigots to gay people, they are against at least one Christian family value. But since you are anti-gay, you probably don't care about that.
You're anit-gay as has been shown in the talk radio host gay bar thread. Each time you tried to deny it, you just said more anti-gay stuff. If you're concerned go back and take a look. Any group that works towards making or keeping marriage illegal for gays is anti-gay. I mentioned Christian family values in my post. Being bigoted isn't a Christian value.
I'm not linking to a thing. It's already been posted and either you can go back and read it or don't. It makes no difference to me whatsoever.
The cognitive dissonance that some people display between their "it's ok to be gay" statements and their overt support of "it's not ok to be gay" groups is absolutely astonishing.
Boy, I'm really looking forward to this duck. I've never had food ordered in advance before. Could have stayed home and ordered pizza from Pokeno's. Pokeno's? Oh, no. You should never order pizza from Pokeno's. - Why not? - The owner contributes money... ...to those fanatical anti-abortion groups. - So you won't eat the pizza? - No way. - Really? - Yeah. Well, what if... ...Poppie felt the same way? Well, I guess I wouldn't eat here then. Really? Yeah, that's right. Well, perhaps we should inquire. Poppie? Oh, Poppie? - Could I have a word? - Yes, Jerry. I just checked your duck. It is more succulent than even I had hoped. Poppie, I was just curious. Where do you stand on abortion? When my mother was abducted by the communists... ...she was with a child. - Oh, boy. But the communists, they put an end to that. So on this issue, there is no debate... ...and no intelligent person can think differently. Well, Poppie, I think differently. And what gives you the right to do that? The Supreme Court gives me the right to do that! Let's go, Jerry. Come on. I heard that. Let's go, Henry. - We just got here. - I'm with you, Poppie. - Let's go. - And I am not coming back! You're not welcome! Well, I'm certainly glad I brought it up. Well, you should've seen it. It was quite a scene over there.
May I see a complete list of their donations. Anyways, it's their money. I am a supporter of gay rights but I don't think it's right to tell a restaurant chain owned by Christians what to do with THEIR money. If they want to invest their money in legal organizations that support a cause I don't agree with, who cares I'll go invest my money in the Alliance.
