and so does starbucks coffee, rolex watches, vacation to LA, etc.

But yeah, it's a big expense for the first time riders.

I started off on Japanese road bikes, went to HDs, now HD trike and in the market for little red crotch rocket with yellow trimmings to buzz around dallas

Nice. I own a Daytona 675. Although she's a pain to ride on for extended periods of time, she's worth the thrill.

the Bonneville can be fixed so many different ways...Google image it

my Ducati SportClassic is the least comfortable at regular speeds due to how severe the down slope is on the handlebars

plus my left foot always falls asleep when going fast on it (peg vibration). I ride it to New Braunfels & end up overtaking the same cars MULTIPLE times because i keep having to pull over....

i totalled my Desmo a few years ago....
my body was broken just enough to distract me from the fact i did.not.have.it.insured...sniff, sniff

Harley's are r****ded. Stupidly noisy and stupidly expensive. No wonder only older dudes with money to burn by them.

An R6 isn't just a 600. I had an R1 and have friends who still have R6's IMO the R6 is the best all around bike out there.
