OR ... maybe it has something to do with his individual stats being way up and the team he's starting for having a better record compared to last year despite down years from the other main guys and a new coach.

Don't bother. DaDakota is noticeably avoiding responding to you, because he'd have to admit to his errors regarding stats.

DaDakota is in troll mode and has no intention of correcting his gross errors.

Wow. Those are scientific baseline numbers. Numbers like that never lie.

So why the F&&& do some people still insist on using adjectives like "deceptive" when it comes to his speed/quickness?

Lin's faster than Derrick Rose and John Wall? That can't be right.

He's consistently beating people off the dribble. He's quick. Quick as hell.

He is extremely quick...great first step.

But a 25yd dash against Wall...maybe without the ball? But I'm sure Wall would win a 25 yd dash dribbling the ball.

Stats don't lie, is there any evidence or proof to back up your claim?

Yeah, ESPN Sports Science says Lin is not faster than John Wall. He has the same acceleration. I would trust ESPN over some website that I never heard of.

Because he's asian and they aren't known for being quick physically. So logically, they figure, "he's not quick. he's just crafty."

look at the numbers...john wall has a faster top speed

none of this is new. even d'antoni admitted all of this in a postgame interview a few weeks ago. they knew lin's agility was off the charts from the very beginning. but they had huge questions about his ability to defend, to finish, and to shoot

what? my claim that Lin is extremely quick and a great first step? are you denying that?

but the key point is speed with the ball...these aren't wide receivers. Iverson could dribble past a floor of people. Wall is the closest I've seen to that. I'd love to see that data if there is any.

Even still, first step is more important, and Lin has that...as well as everyone on that list.

Anyone have numbers on Aaron Brooks draft data?

The website's numbers shows Usain Bolt's average speed is higher than his top speed. The author is a statistical genius of JCDenton's kind.

yeah, and why would Usain Bolt run a 25yd dash, anyhow?

and what does a "start speed" greater than 0mph even mean?

Lin is very quick, but he has average handles which is why he gets the ball stolen pretty often. He also has a difficult time going left.

Just because you never heard of it doesn't mean they are less credible than ESPN.

All speedy Asians are deceptively quick because NO ONE believes Asians could be quick.
