My guess is neither reporter is lying. They just heard different things from different sources. Sources from non-Celtic teams telling reporters that Boston has been shopping him. Sources from the Celtics deny it. It's the same dance with any player allegedly on the trade block. Other teams want to make the player's value look lower, the player's own team don't want that to happen. Everyone is posturing until a deal actually goes down.
