that's why JVG said he was the best shooter he's seen and tmac said the same too, didnt he? It was always just about getting him open enough and he wasn't really doing enough on his own to make that happen, now he is.
May I introduce you to Andrea Bargnani?? Also, is Kyle Korver really that much better on the defensive end than Novak? (They both give little to nothing on that side of the ball)

The biggest thing I see in Novak now is his defense, which is much improved after often looking lost on the court as a Rocket. He may not be physically gifted in that way, but he has a clue where to be and gives an effort. This allows his coach to put him on the court more and show the shooting ability that he has always had. In fact, I think he might better on the defensive end than Stoudemire at this point.
Unbelievable Lincentric view of life. It's Lin's job to look for open teammates. Novak is in this league because he could always shoot. He's not on the court because of Lin. He's getting more time because he finally got a clue where to be on defense.
There might be something to this. In Lin's 12 starts: Novak - 12.7 ppg, 48% 3pt Before Lin: 3.4 ppg, 43% 3pt disclaimer: I haven't exactly been watching Knicks games, so yes, I'm basing this completely off of box scores.
Not that simple...... Melo missed a great deal of those games also.... further, Lin is not making the shots for him. He is hot right now, and has always been a great 3 point shooter, it has been a matter of keeping him from being raped on defense. Nothing against Lin...... he just isnt the main reason Novak is getting burn now.
