    1) No Portman, so that's settled. Maybe Odin zips him over or something. I'm sure it'll be a single-scene solution.

    2) Who says he does? All he does is keep him in a box until he gets upset.

    3) As mentioned, he's a SHIELD agent. He'll get established in a Hawkeye-Widow movie if they want.

    1) I was wondering the same...we'll see.
    2) At the end of the first movie they alluded to him being able to control it. At the end of the second movie, they made it very clear he was getting a real grasp on controlling it. He saved people intentionally, and didn't attack anyone other than Abomination.
    3) He's a spy...I'd like to think they'll bring a little insight. Does Hawkeye really need his own movie though?

I can only hope that it'll be 2 1/2 hours long. That'd be fantastic.

It's not going to be like fantastic four...heh. I'm not saying it's going to be an Academy Award winning movie, but Marvel Studios != Fox... They're 5/5 in my book. (Iron Man 1/2, Hulk 2, Thor, Captain America)

I was hoping they would make it super epic and be like 4 hours long...

I know right, the longer the better. I'd chill through an intermission for this. Any other movie; probably not.

I actually have low expectations for this movie. I am planning on seeing it but am not expecting it to be epic but entertaining.

    Directed by Joss Whedon

He's the guy that did Firefly. I have faith in Joss. You should, too. This movie is going to be excellent.

I'm guessing it's Fin Fang Foom, super-high-tech style.

    Rumored Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers.

    On the whoaretheyexactly army
Interwebbers that are adamantly saying they know (are not speculating, but know) claim that they were written to be the Skrulls, but FOX studios has their rights under the Fantastic Four contract. Therefore, they are being tweaked for legal reasons to be either Alpha Centuarians or "The Redacted"

Further, the idea is that Loki barters (in bad faith) with Thanos for the army in return for the (no jewels included) Infinity Gauntlet. The bad faith part supposedly coming back to bite Loki.

    On the Mechadragon
On set, it's been referred to as The Leviathan, and it appears to be an instance of heavy artistic liberties borrowing from a late 80s Avengers arc, where Namor's lady friend turns into a sea monster.

Speaking of that potential tie-in character
Plenty of rumblings that the Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos won't be the only seeds planted by the Avengers.
Namor seems to be favored to cameo or at least be easter egged...leading to a major role in Iron Man 3 and possible inclusion for Avengers 2 or his own feature film.
There were Atlantis Easter Eggs in Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man 2.

And one last (weak) barely a spoiler about possible tie ins
The alien army and Thanos may not foreshadow Avengers 2...but branch offs Gaurdians of the Galaxy and The Inhumans. Both franchises would be surprising, but Marvel seems more invested in those films than Dr Strange (Easter egg in Thor) or Ant-Man.

Rumors are rumors, not fact. But if true, I want to consider them spoilers.

I hope that cameo you're referring to is inaccurate. I've always found that character to be suck. Not the space-faring one, the other one.

Agreed. I'd rather see a Spiderman/Peter Parker cameo over Marvel's lame version of Aquaman.

Spoiler tags! That's why I didn't flat out say his name.
I'd say Aquaman is even more lame than the Sub-mariner, but they both suck. As for the Spiderman cameo, it won't happen since Sony owns the rights to the character. Same reason why you won't see any X-men dudes jump in...how sick would that be? Xmen vs Avengers movie, woooooooooow.

It helps a lot that they're finishing the post-production CGI. I noticed previous trailers showing scenes that were clearly unfinished (cars exploding for no visible reason...now the laser blasts and aliens are added in)

There is a section on their Facebook page that is currently inactive. I imagine in the next few days it'll go live and we'll be able to sign up.

Yea I just saw that. I'm thinking when the other 5 cities are announced at 8am Monday. I will set my alarm accordingly to snag some passes.
