Like I said. They should be playing Steve Novak during the Heats game. The guy is one of the reason they are on a winning streaks. He been keeping the score close and Lin finishing in the 4 quarter been the main reason why they had that 7 winning streaks.
I know it's the Cavs, but NY looks deep. They have a great bench with B-Diddy, Shumpert, JR, Jeffries and Novak
Novak is a legit pure shooter. Hitting three, four in a row doesn't necessarily mean he's a streaky player. Novak and James Jones are the two best three point shooters I have ever seen (in this era).
The knicks are a great team, darkhorse to do a lot of damage in the playoffs, if they can sort out their defence, they have great team chemistry and lin is running the show very well. They are also extremely deep. The only problem i have with this team is AMARE, his defense is seriously so bad and his offense is not making up for much. They should really trade his if possible although his contract is terrible so i dont know who they can get... Melo will be able to adjust playing off the ball will be able to score on single coverage because of the other strong players now. p.s kyrie irving is nuts
LOL @ Carmelo....again. There is no hope for him. Low IQ + tendency to chuck away are built into his genes. Knicks should unload him ASAP.
i didn't buy it when ppl said melo's return would hurt the team... i buy it now, consistently he makes bone head plays and screws the team over
The Knicks had plenty of chances in the game. They made a run with Baron Davis, but that guy is still a score first point guard jacking up Steve Francis like 3 pointers. Teams are defending Lin better, but the ball movement is way better when he's the point. Melo needs to stop being a chucker and take it to the hoop. it's like he lost all of his skill
This NY knicks team has no hope unless they unload Carmelo. This guy just doesn't know how to play team ball and makes too many bad decisions.
Simple solution to winning games is they don't play Melo and Davis. But they aren't going to do that, so they'll just settle for missing the playoffs.
http://espn.go.com/nba/notebook?page=dailydimelive MVP: Dirk Nowitzki: After a spotty, rim-clanging first half, Dirk's mid-range heroics helped spark a 14-0 second-half run that held the pesky Knicks at bay. He's still picking bits of Amare Stoudemire out of his teeth as we speak. LVP: Carmelo Anthony: Whether he was lazily throwing inbound passes at Jeremy Lin's shoes, failing to finish at the rim, or pulling the string on so many jumpers, Melo (six points on 2-for-12 shooting) looked about as bad as he's ever looked in orange and blue.
STAT SUCKS! I've been saying this all along! Dude is straight trash without his superior athleticism.
