"Chris McCosky (Pistons beat writer, Detroit News): I remember trying to stop Jamaal Tinsley from going into the stands, and he went through me like I was butter. It was a pretty failed attempt on my part." hahahaahhaahahahha faillll
Pretty remarkable article. Kudos to whoever edited all those interview transcripts and quotes into a really compelling story. Probably took more work and creativity than writing an original article.
I'm sure we all remember the pudgy dude who tried to size up Artest. I almost wish O'neal landed that punch. Geez, that literally might've killed him.
Yep, when keeping it real goes wrong. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hRFMu3zb5dA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Most of the articles we get posted here are crap or wild speculation. That was a rare good read. I watched it live, and couldn't believe it as it unfolded. As soon as you saw the hard foul with the bad blood you knew crap was gonna go down. It's easy to forget the lead up to the game, but a potential dust up between the squads was what made it must see TV, but nobody could have foresaw what happened. At school Monday the fight was the first word out of every dudes mouth.
