Every now and then something comes along that reminds me about the time I spent several k at a strip club and makes me re-regret it. This is one of those times.
Not only do you get the suit, which if you properly care for it, will last forever. You get the experience of doing something special, in a special place, that special people have been doing for over 200 years. The experience of picking the fabric, customizing everything on the suit, having the "master" cutter pick over his creation like he just made a pile of garbage and hating himself, only to produce a custom work of art that you get to wear. Also, pay the extra 100 GBP or so and get the waistcoat. You'll wear it rarely, but it looks mighty fine when you do, and really separates you from a room full of people in suits.
Yeah, you're just making it worse now. I got a blowie at a strip club instead. Sweet. Maybe next year.
dude, i've purchased polyester suits from jc penney's in the last three years that i still have that i still get compliments on walking down the streets of downtown houston. i've never purchased and very expensive suits, but from the suits i've have had from dillards and macy's and even penney's none more than $200 (all on sale) i'd have to say purchasing an expensive suit is one of the biggest wastes of money eva
i have a friend who works in the men's section of nieman marcus. i was in there waiting on him looking at the $300 hand painted ties. i tell the sales guy next to the ties, these ties look the same as the ones in macy's and dillards. he's like yeah, but you've never bought an expensive tie, people who can afford them can feel the difference. i'm like, who the f is gonna feel my tie?
i have a narrow waist..and relatively broad shoulders. i am only 5' 7". I tried the suit on at zara's..the 38R fit me well but it was a little long..they dont have 38S. i was hoping to go to the sims place but i see now it's closed. i need to go by macys.
