Who could forget his Brady Bunch appearance as Marcia's date? Then, he came back in one of the movies to play one of his hits with the metal hair band. Classic. "Girl, look what you done to me..." Rest in peace, Davey Jones of "The Monkees".
RIP - I watched that show all the time as a little kid. It always stinks when a death robs a group of ever having one last reunion. Given all of the in fighting and conflicts between the 4, that was a long shot anyway, but still a shame.
HEY, HEY...! R.I.P. Que En Paz Descanse. It's odd, but every time I test some form on HTML or do a mock test on filling out something, my first and last name, email, and other things like personal info are "Hey Hey weare @ themonkees.com" or something similar.
Grey up on the Monkees when I was little. Watched it on Channel 20 every weekday. So sad. Such a good entertainer.

when rich lord and mark vandemeer had a show in 06 they were going to do some monkee's trivia. neither one of them understood that guys my age grew up on monkee's reruns. i was the first caller and started singing when they went to me, "and then i saw her face, now i'm a believer". i also remember davey's cameo on the brady bunch and peter's mom got rich from inventing liquid paper and was from dallas. rip
hadn't realized he originated the role of the artful dodger on broadway. i love that show- my old man was one of the great southeast missouri little theater fagins.
absolutely! I haven't seen such blatant plagiarism since Sting ripped off Sean Puffy Combs with Every Breath You Take. this generation. psshhhh
RIP Davey. I remember watching The Monkees TV show on Channel 20 when I was a kid. I would come in from outside just to watch that show.
