Why arent we sending wilson chandler a lowball offer? Denver doesnt want him and he will go back to italy if no one sends him offer. give him a delembert contract cause he is worth ALOT more than that

Houston Trades: Kevin Martin and Luis Scola
Houston Receives: Pau Gasol and Andrew Goudelock

    LAC Trades: Mo Williams
    LAC Receives: Kevin Martin

LAL Trades: Pau Gasol and Andrew Goudelock
LAL Receives: Luis Scola and Mo Williams

Houston does it because we get rid of K-Mart and Scola and pick up a star in Pau Gasol.

    C: Dalembert/Hill/Thabeet
    PF: Gasol/Patterson/Smith
    SF: Parsons/Williams/Morris
    SG: Lee/Budinger/Goudelock
    PG: Lowry/Dragic/Flynn

LAC does it because they have a PG logjam with CP3, Williams, and Bledsoe. This frees up playing time for Bledsoe and gives them a legit starting shooting guard.

    C: Jordan/Evans/Thompkins
    PF: Griffin/Martin/Cook
    SF: Butler/Gomes/Simmons
    SG: Martin/Foye/Leslie
    PG: Paul/Bledsoe
    Injured: Billups

LAL does it because it gives them the PG they've lacked and they're able to replace Gasol pretty well with Scola.

    C: Bynum/Murphy
    PF: Scola/McRoberts/Walton
    SF: Barnes/Arest/Ebanks
    SG: Bryant/Kapono/Morris
    PG: Williams/Blake/Fisher

Aldrich or Sanders for Morris. or Orton for Bud.

    Pat/D-Mo
    Aldrich/Sanders

    Not a bad front line.

I wouldn't let him be on the team. I would just negotiate a buyout with him and cut him.

The point would be to get a top 3 pick in the draft and free up playing time for our youngs.

To be honest, I would probably trade all that just to get Jared Sullinger. Maybe the Wiz would do it if they wind up around 4th or 5th in the draft.

Id rather go for Drummond (I know he would be in the top 3).

Yeah but I was thinking it would be a lot easier to convince somebody to part with #4 or #5 than a top 3 pick

I like this trade proposal. I did not check to see if the salaries work, but seems to work well for all teams involved. I think it makes all 3 teams better. The Clippers look very good on paper with that line up and the Lakers would have better efficiency.

As for our beloved Rockets we improve the defense of our starting line up and get a star player. Our starting 5 defense would be nasty but we would lose a bit of depth. We would have to tighten up our rotation.

I especially like that we keep Lowry and Dragic in this scenario!!!!!!!

    Repped!!!!!!!!

Certainly your right. It's always difficult to trade up for a top 3 pick. But Lowry+Martin+Scola+1st rd or something like this is a fairly considerable offer for a top 3 pick isn't it? I was saying I want Morey to do anything to get Drummond come to here. And I know it is unrealistic, just dreamin;)

I would love to get Drummond too, he will be a superstar type center, he might not even enter the draft though. He says he won't be if he's #1 or #2 that's a lot of money to pass up.

I still think Al Jefferson would be the next best thing to adding Pau, and wouldn't cost us as much to acquire. Something along the lines of Scola/Martin for Jefferson/Bell could potentially be beneficial to both teams. ($$ works as well).

I would love to see this happens, it is doubtful that Utah wants Scola though. I rather think adding Big Al is far better than adding Pau.

I don't see Utah wanting Scola, since the whole point of trading him would be to open up PT for Favors and Kanter while improving their shoddy backcourt.

I could see something like Martin and Budinger for Jefferson.

But with that scenario we will be jammed at 4-5, so how about this:

HOU get: Al Jefferson, Raja Bell
UTAH get: Kevin Martin, Corey Maggette
CHA get: Luis Scola, Terrence Williams

To be honest I've come to the conclusion that there are almost no takers who make sense for Luis Scola, lr22. I don't see Charlotte being any different, they're trying to rebuild not add 30+ overpaid veterans. Maybe we can give him to OKC for scraps, that's about all I can think of. Otherwise I suspect we may end up amnestying him in the offseason.

Apparently Ainge is looking to trade Paul Pierce, depending on what he can get. This was brought up again today (I'm too lazy to post what I found) in hoopsworld.com.

I wouldn't be stunned if we trade for Pierce. Might not hurt to ride out his and Martin's contracts (end of next season) and see what happens.

I wouldn't throw all our young players out there. Certainly Thabust and some 09'ers, just to help Boston clear cap space, maybe Morris and/or Chase and/or NY pick. That kind of thing.

If Boston reeeeeeeeeally wants to get under the cap, we can offer Kyle also, and maybe nab Rondo, but the numbers get complicated.

Washington would be an intersting fit for Scola. Lots of young players without any real veteran leadership. Scola would add a lot to that locker room.
