Realistically, if injured players come back, this could be the playoff standings: 1. OKC 2. San Antonio 3. LA Clips 4. Memphis (Yes I believe they are the 4th best with Z-Bo) 5. Denver (When Gallo and Nene are back) 6. Dallas 7. La Lakers 8. Minnesota 9. Portland 10. Houston IMO if we do not address our huge interior defense problem, this is where we will end up by the end of regular season. We don't need to make a drastic move, just send some of the 09 busts and one of our solid bench players for someone who can clog the paint for at least 30 minutes. Pryzbilla would've been nice had he not gone back to Portland.
Outside of OKC(cant believe im saying this) no team in the west scares me. They all have their weaknesses. Lakers always manage to get their **** straight once the playoffs start but they definitely have holes.
most importantly, the Rockets are a half game out of the 3 seed, with the Clippers about to go on a brutal 20 games in 30 nights stretch.
A win at home against one of the worst squads in the league without their main option = lock for homecourt in the playoffs.

This kind of conclusion is outdated, over-used, and incorrect. By the way, your comment reeks of pessimism: 1) Clearly we're getting swept out of 1st round 2) 9th seed / 14th pick 3) Throw up and not watch the Rockets 4) Undersized forward 5) Stuck in cement 6) It'll take a miracle Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. And when you open them again, take a good look at what this team really is. If you can't see it, then maybe it's time to follow a different team. Because fans that make such pessimistic posts like this are poison to the rest of us.
Technically speaking, if we were 4th, we would be facing 5th seed and having HCA. That shouldn't be called an upset if we win.
Your wish could come true and apparently already has for many others: check the attendance and t.v. ratings. The team has that "going nowhere" feel about it. Not good. Be glad some of us even care, many don't.
I get what you're saying, and RedDragon01. But please tell us that all you guys that enjoy "keeping it real" are crazy freaking fans at the games. I've been coming here for a long ass time and sincerely enjoy and respect the old timers comments, like you, solid. But sometimes you guys can be a big downer. So I ask again, tell me you guys are seriously crazy fans that knows no bounds for our Rockets. When you're at the stadium you're bats**t crazy, twisting and shouting for our team!!! (I know you really are...just trying to make a point on perception)
There is no way you luck into the playoffs. 66 games of games c'mon maaaaan! Basketball is played on the court not on a name.
