I already said I would have him, just not for 9 million a year, but close to Chuckwagon's contract around 4.5 million
You started this stupid thread, and if you didn't want replies, you should have kept your fingers off the keyboard.
K-Mart going 3-15 and playing no defense in 32 minutes almost lost the game tonight. What were you watching? If they would have pulled him out when they should have, the game would not have been close.
Sorry, but I'm getting pretty tired of seeing threads like this after a game, a game we won. Yes, it was ugly, but if Martin and Scola had stayed on the bench, it is a game we would have lost, IMO.
It would be better if you just post in other trade Martin and Scola threads that are already existing. I agree those two are not Top 25 players on their position. Team's overall talent outside of Lowry is horrible......we all know that. For God's sake Parsons is a rookie... y'all know that rookies are solid contributors only if the OVERALL TALENT sucks.
3-15 but he made 7 of 8 fts. That amounts to 14 pts on 15 attempts, not exactly what I'd call a horrible shooting night. Watching the game isn't enough, unless you're some kind of computer that can keep track of everything that happens on the court. You don't really know if Lee would have been more effective, Lee's shooting isn't that great (2-6) and I don't know if he would have gotten 8 fts attempts like Kmart if he played more. What I do know is sticking with Kmart led to a Rocket win, at the end of the day that's all that really matters.
I'm just trying to figure out how a team that supposedly sucks so bad now has a record tied for 4th best in the west. Enlighten me.
I know. After all, we've been told "rookies are solid contributors only if the OVERALL TALENT sucks." I never realized that is a rule one should go by. I always thought a rookie became a solid contributor because his overall talent warrants the minutes.
I'm just trying to figure out why you would trade two starters, your second and third best players, in the middle of a playoff push when you've gone 18-7. Not to mention trying to work in a new player(s) into the rotation and upset team chemistry. Sometimes I hate the internet...
Maybe i am blaming the wrong people. Maybe it is the coaching staff i should be talking about. They are the ones who left them in. Yes, it is true that they both still scored well, but we barely won the game because of their bad defense. They have been playing defense this season. Just not enough. Also, it is obvious that the team plays better together when they are both out. Better ball movement. At least that is what i have been seeing.
Lowry........ 2nd rounder Parsons, sometimes Dalembert and the bench. McHale Kevin Martin's contribution is good, not consistent. Scola has been mediocre at times... Again they contribute.... no question, but they are not your best players , again they are paid to lead the team. Now all of a sudden, Lowry, Parsons and Dalembert are leading all the way.
Really? So the nice lead we built up in the first quarter, and the nice start we had. Was the ball movement terrible then?
Wow you are just now realizing this? ALERT THE PRESSES! Maybe we can trade Martin and Scola for Gasol? Opinions?
They should get around MLE type of money for what they are doing. Scola was brought here to complement Yao and Tracy. Martin brought to complement Yao. They are secondary or tertiary players not first tier players.... we need some two way first players.... or maybe elite defenders that can average 14 ppg.
