I think this year it wont take as long for it to hit the states. I'm hearing there might even be a simultaneous launch. Yes, it will run a modified version of Touchwiz that is based off of Android 4.0.3 or greater

    2.0? I'm guessing that's a typo :)
4.0 is the current version so it will probably run 5.0

No. He's trying to say you can change the launcher to get rid of the TW4 launcher. Framework and all will remain Touchwiz. However now with ICS and the Holo theme, I don't think it will be that big of an issue.

Nova Launcher (For Phones running 4.0.1 and up) will probably run well on that device and give it that Nexus look. At least in the launcher department

Samsung's current lineup of phones have exceptional battery life and I do know battery life is one of their main focuses going forward. So hopefully...

Next phone I'll get will have to have something similar to RAZR Maxx's battery.

Yeah, I know, I can probably buy an OEM extended battery. But I like using cases.

Yes, please. No need to wait for the Nexus to come to ATT in that case.

Samsung has been leading the world in phone tech, R&D, etc. for years now.
Although to be completely honest the difference between 720p and 1080p on a phone screen will not be noticeable at all. Even on a screen as big as 4.8 inches.

I hope I can overclock that quad-core CPU higher than 1.5ghz though... At least 2.7-ish...

Love how the screen eliminates most of the bezel, though I suppose on a phone it's a little less practical. Still looks great.

Quad core is great I suppose, but much like the jump from 720-1080 it's more a bullet point than anything else. Very nice combination though.

Yeah not many Android applications right now really require that four core CPU. Good for future-proofing though.

It's for running Ubuntu or windows 8 :p. Though that would be pretty nice though.

Please. If it doesn't have 8 cores and isn't made out of adamantium, have 5400j resolution and powered by the Infinity Gauntlet, I really don't care. This is 2012, people.

Samsung is actually working on a completely bezel-less phone right now. The screen is said to be edge to edge.

I will wait for screens that go over the edges.

In those two years quad core may not be surpassed...
Or I could be wrong and they could have Intel Core i7s and DSLR-quality cameras on the phone. Lol.

Heh, they're already working on 6-8 cores etc before the end of the year I believe. You have to understand that right now technology is being pushed more by the cellphone/tablet industry than anything else. Other than of course...drone warfare, but that's another discussion.

Is quad core even that necessary on a phone?

I think everyone would love for their phone to be on par with a laptop, that's probably the goal. You'll essentially have three product lines, a phone-computer, your portable larger tablet devise, and your all-in-one television screen at home.
