I thought the noose zombie had his legs nibbled off, but these are great theories to explain what the dr. told Rick at the CDC, as well as the airborne virus theory. but if you blast your brains out you won't reanimate, according to this same theory. what about all those dead bodies on the freeway though? were they just rotten corpses or dead zombies? hard to tell. hopefully we will find out more. I'm sure the writers know that these are the questions the fans want answered, I haven't watched any Talking Dead in a while.
I don't see how it would really matter to their safety either way...but it could take away any hope they have left. The problem is Shane only cares about Shane (push comes to shove I think he would even sacrifice Lori and Carl). Rick cares about the whole group and tries to do it all himself, to a fault sometimes. I think they both have similar views but come from different perspectives. Personally I'd rather have the guy that's still got his head on straight and hasn't lost all his humanity leading the fight against the zombies. I think they've both been right and wrong too. Shane just has the luxury of playing armchair QB.
So he probably tried to kill himself before turning. Spoiler I wonder if a zombie bite causes you to die much like a venemous animal...and then upon death, the virus is triggered. Remember from the CDC, Jenner's wife died first before turning.
i don't like this show too much anymore. Its just dragging on and getting dumb. i hope everyone turns into a zombie and dies.
The three zombies stacked on top of Rick was awesome. Playing peekaboo with the walker on top of the human/zombie pyramid. And Andrea was on the mark when she tore Olive Oil a new one. "She'll get a husband... a son... a baby... a boyfriend." BURN!!!
About the guards, in case you haven't figured it out and are going by your fuzzy memory of things the characters probably never said instead of what is actually going on.... Spoiler It doesn't matter how you die, once you are dead you will become a zombie.
The second half of the season has been much better but im still waiting for Michonne and the governor, i think once they come into play, ****s gonna get real. I don't think that happens until season 3 tho.
They actually cast the Governor. Don't know the guy, another british actor unfortunately. They wanted John Hawkes, who would have been great, but he turned them down. Since it's AMC, I'm going to assume they didn't offer Hawkes enough money and they hired somebody who took even less.
Here's the Season 3 thread. Cannonball and Oski- please kindly edit your posts to remove that spoiler info...don't want to ruin it for other folks.
Everybody talking about Shane needs to be eaten by zombies but right now nobody is more useless than Daryl right now.... I mean Shane can be an ass but he is doing what it takes to protect the group.
The next episode looks like a strong Daryl episode. The preview looked awesome, let's hope it lives up to expectations. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/iqemYtW3huk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Didn't they show Rick finding a pile of burned bodies? Am I the only one who thinks that the guards may have been exposed by burning zombie bodies?
