This is the best breakdown I have been able to find thus far. All of the WRs we have been discussing are listed.

Of note, it looks like Alshon Jeffrey didn't participate in any drills but reports are he weighed in at 216 (down from 230). So no news on him until his pro day.

I was happy to see Nick Toon posted a 4.54 40. There were rumors he had re-injured his foot and might not be able to particpate.

Ryan Broyles posted 21 reps, but didn't run a 40. Somewhat expected as he is still recovering from an ACL tear.

Off topic: I never realized that Andrew Luck was Oliver Luck's kid. I hope he's better than his dad. I just learned that from the site.

Alshon deciding not to run bothers me. Obviously, wasn't ready to put up a decent time.

At this point he is still at the top of my list of WR's who could fall to us. Hopefully, he show adequate speed at his pro day.

Stephen Hill looked like a monster at the combing. 6-4, running in the 4.3's with good hand size. I'm sure he raw with his route running is suspect for the same reason his numbers aren't gaudy(Triple Option). The measurables are hard to ignore.

looks like he didn't participate in anything...
it always boggles my mind why players do that. makes them look bad my mind.

think its the agents in their ear telling them to save it for their pro days?

Stephen Hill is my dark horse candidate for Texans's first round pick. His run blocking is another huge plus for the Texans. If his route running is suspect though, ...

    No more of these please!

Im tired of the "he provides invaluable battleblockin" types we have.

We need a game changer...or we will be one and done

The Texans were "this close" to not being one and done this year. that's with a 3rd string rookie quarterback throwing interceptions left and right, and one of the dumbest punt return attempts that resulted in a TD for the other team you'll ever see. Not to mention a missed FG.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be great to have a 2nd Andre Johnson type, even a mini-Andre Johnson, as opposed to a simply slightly above average WR who is a great run blocker. I'd certainly value WR skills over run-blocking skills when analyzing wide receivers.

Of course, Hill did put up a 4.36 forty, so he's got blazing speed. So I think the comment was more along the lines of, this dude is super fast, AND is a great run blocker. BUT it didn't translate into supreme productivity for GT.

Somebody on ESPN yesterday was talking about him and how he though he'd be a good fit for us as a 2nd round pick. Said he didn't put up big numbers at GT largely because they're not a big passing team. GT was 2nd in the nation in rushing yards and only threw the ball 167 times last year (compared to 718 rushes) and they're starting QB completed less than 50% of his passes. Hill still came close to a 1,000 yard season on only 28 receptions.

You obviously have no clue who we are talking about. He's a player with elite speed, size, already capable and willing to block as well. It's hard to find a better fit.

They were saying the same thing about another GT alum, Demaryius Thomas, a couple of years ago. Someone is going to fall in love with his combine performance and nab him in late 1st round.

And Hill has GAME CHANGING speed. 4.3 in a 40 at 6'4"? That's a game changing MISMATCH.

I would love to see Michael Floyd on the Texans. I was kind of hoping his combine results were mediocre so he'd fall to us. Looks like we'll have to trade up if we want a shot at him now.

He was to Notre Dame what Andre Johnson has been to the Texans. If in doubt, throw it up in his general direction and the majority of the time he'll come down with the ball.

Don't be suprised if Floyd id the 1st WR of the board. He is the best WR in the draft right now.

But Hill has the potential to have the best career.

Hill would be nice in the 1st but I have a gut feeling he won't be there by the time our pick comes in. Teams like the Jets, Bengals, Bears and the Eagles might take a chance at Hill.

Yeah, I'd go with Blackmon.. but Floyd is pretty damn good. He had a *****ty QB with a noodle arm last year and still managed good stats. I did not expect him to run in the 4.4s.. definitely a good boost to his stock.

I watched a lot of GT games the last few years. Hill isn't as good as Demariyus was. Which worries me, considering Demariyus hasn't found a way to do much yet. Of course, he had Tebow for a lot of this year.. still, I wouldn't spend a 1st on Hill
