Is there anywhere I can shred lots of documents at one time?

I live in the Northwest side of town and was wondering if there was anything close by. I have a shredder at home but it would overheat with the amount of documents I need to shred. I was thinking of going all lord of the flies and start a bonfire but I don't think the city will allow that.

Try Kinkos and Fedex Office Centers. Plus, sometimes banks will offer a "shredding day" to their customers.

Let us know what day you're gonna be on TV going to jail in handcuffs. I'd like to tell my wife I know you.

I'm also curious about this, as I tend to go through my mail and throw all the credit card offers into a bundle in my closet rather than throwing them out. Would take forever to shred individually.

Basically that's what happened. Still have a bunch of credit card offers in their envelope sealed. Need to get rid of them.

Looks like we're both in luck, assuming you're in Houston. Just found this place that offers a free serviced during certain hours.

I had a close family member pass away last spring, and we had to get garbage bags full of stuff shredded. It was someone who filed everything, and I mean everything. That was great getting the estate organized, but heck to get rid of. My sister and my nephew took it all somewhere to get shredded, and it was either cheap, or free. Perhaps it was where ClutchCityReturns posted. I'll try to check tomorrow. Good luck!

We actually used them one time at my old job. Just drove over there with bags/boxes of confidential client records that were sitting in a storage unit and needed to be destroyed. Pretty legit company didn't ask any questions just let us unload our boxes and presumably shredded all the stuff for no charge.
