I'm sad that Chuck and the Kings won't be moving to Seattle, but I'm happy for Sacramento. Even though this team is far removed from the happy fun days of the Webber era, I have a fond place in my heart for the Kings and Cowbell City.

League would have probably bought them to stop it. Glad that did not happen.

So Superman isn't gonna lift Sacramento and drop it somewhere else?

How about, Kings to stay in Sacramento?

    (Yes, I'm a **^&%#.) :p

I sure hope they keep the arena basketball only, and not expanded to support hockey dimensions. That's the great thing about the Kings fans; they are so load because their stadium is like NCAA stadiums with the fans so much closer to the court than stadiums that support hockey -- similar to football and soccer stadiums that support track...I hate them. Or worse, Candlestick park for baseball and football...ugh.

I'm glad the city is staying where it's at. It would be hard on everybody if they had to move.

Agreed. That's one thing I don't like about the arenas in the NYC area, MSG and Prudential Center. Both are made to host hoops and hockey.

Now the Maloof brothers owe it to the Kings to field a competitive team.

Despite the fact not all cities have a hockey team, I'm pretty sure every stadium in the NBA is dual purpose to support hockey except Sac, Utah and Indiana. Maybe OKC, too. I think my info is about 5 years old.

Seattle needs a ball club so I can come down from Vancouver to watch some ball games.

Good. I hate it when teams move. The reasons are almost always 100 percent bull****.

(Now I won't get to see them in nearby Anaheim )

    For sure

The Maloofs havent been perfect, though really they did all they could to keep the team around to give Sacramento a chance. They had EVERY REASON to cut payroll and move the team.

Phoenix, Miami, San Antonio, and Barclays. It will be NBA only, but they can make it hockey Capable, but it would only seat 14,000, which is too small, but I'm sure no one goes to an Islanders game.
