lol epic choke <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Tp9dA5z3hX0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> typical Lebron
5 seconds left with the ball in his hands down 2....and he passes it to the wrong team. If Kobe had the ball in that situation there is no doubt who is taking the last shot.
You've got to be kidding me. Its an all-star game and people are really going to start criticize LeBron for not leading his team to victory?
Yes man and some ****ing dip **** guy had his hand out which covered her face. I was like dooood put your hand down. I was trying to put a face to dat ass.
Wow, are you guys serious? I can understand getting on him for making the turnover, but some of you actually think he should have shot the ball wayyyyy behind the 3-point line (he was at the beginning of the All-Star logo) instead of passing it to an open teammate when they were only down 2? He messed up by not Passing it to Melo, but some of you really think he should have shot it? LMAO Or maybe he should be blamed for the coach drawing up a play that got Deron a wide open 3 that he airballed. Pathetic turnover. Get on him about that if you must, since it is a ASG.
Lol! Some of you guys are ridiculous. This is just the All Star Game. It doesn't solidify anything about Lebron's clutchness.
seeing a replay now he was a little further away than i thought, it was more like a 30 footer without getting closer and running into the double team. still think he probably should have just forced it up for the hero shot. he had every right to that shot at that point based on bringing them back. i also didn't realize that griffin was actually paying pretty good attention to steal it considering he was guarding someone else, i thought he was just right there the whole time.
It's the fact that he doesn't have the balls to shoot it at the end of the game even in the ASG. He's afraid to fail. He had a great game and brought them back but with 1.1 seconds left, this puss inbounds the ball. Even Kobe was shaking his head. It's just an All-Star game thought lol
YEa, it doesn't matter much, its not about the all star game, its that the guy time and time again defers and doesn't seem to have the guys to fail and take the criticism/responsibility of pulling up in the clutch. These are things taht that are apart of the good and bad of being the best player. He was the best player throughout the game and in the league as he normally is, and he showed that he his flaws are mental and that is what puts him down in terms of being great
Yes, since he was hitting those kinds of shots, why the hell not? Obviously the game means a lot to him so he should've had the balls to take it, he could've stepped up and taken the 3, he didn't have to just pull up from 30.
BBS Logic: If favorite player does well in all-star game: Wow! What a clutch and amazing player! If hated player does well in all-star game: Just a meaningless game. He sucks. If favorite player does poorly in all-star game: Just a meaningless game. He'll be good to go in real games. If hated player does poorly in all-star game: Wow. He's so garbage! This is the biggest game of the season! Its for the fans! Blah blah blah. LeBron was a huge factor in the East comeback btw. If that means anything.
Nobody said LeBron played badly. It was clear that he was trying to win. They said he choked in the closing seconds. Which is fact.
Everyone is giving him credit for that, it's just funny that he choked in the last few seconds. That so far, is the story of his career. I'm sure any objective person would find it funny that Lebron would choke even in a meaningless ASG. Story of Lebron's life, teases you and fail to deliver at the very end.
You guys dismiss that it were in fact 5.7sec to go and he could've easily dribbled for a better shot. Instead he tried to pass it over like 4 players to the other side of the 3pt line, which is high risk and not productive. If he won't take the shot, at least he could've dribbled for two more seconds to get a better chance to pass.
Don't blame him for that. That was clearly a set play to Deron (defense played right into his hands by doubling him and leaving a great shooter open). The turnover on the other hand was a choke.
That happened before the offensive rebound and the play I'm talking about. Deron missed and they retained possession, Bron got the ball back and had enoguh time to create something, instead he played hot potatoe.
Hmm, so trying to get a shot up over two defenders when you are 30+ feet from the basket is the correct basketball play, as opposed to passing to a wide-open teammate? Yes, I'm sure that what a coach tells kids to do. The image of Jordan ruined the NBA. Prior to him, making smart basketball plays like passing to an open teammate was actually....smart. Now it's a bad decision. LOL. And what's even funnier is 2 of Jordan's titles came from doing just that. His game-winners were usually when he had the best look. If not, he had no issue passing it to a wide-open teammate for the winning shot. Granted, the pass was a bad one but not the decision not to shoot.
