    sorry forgot to mention:

Each dot represents 25 people. Red dots represent White people, orange dots represent Hispanic people, blue dots represent Black people, green dots represent Asian people, and gray dots represent other people

Oh well, this map is new to me! I love this stuff -- it's fascinating to see where and how different people-groups settle. I hope an updated one of these comes out soon.

During the last census, I had a few white friends get incredulous about having to fill out the census due to, among other reasons, having to provide their "race". They were motivated by some combination of the fear of reverse-racism and of course, the good ol' "it's none of the government's business!" argument. Naturally, they thought it very clever by spreading the word how we're all the human race.

Censuses are wonderful things--it's knowledge and information! Why anyone would try to troll the process is beyond me.

I honestly didn't need you to tell me what each dot represents.

It breaks down exactly the way you would expect it to.

I'm a red dot covered in red dots. Is my red dot racist?
