The NBA should pay/convince Lebron and Rose to do the contest. Make it a 1 on 1 slam dunk contest for the ages. Start hyping early. Create buzz not seen since Jordan Vs Dominique. Run promos almost like a WWE/UFC style with each player talking trash. Let Sprite promote it like crazy with commercials and in the end we all win. Hype and excitement will be off the charts!

Dwight had very, very little face time tonight. You would think the marquee player in the city that is hosting the All-Star game would be getting plenty of TV time. Obviously they suppressed slapping him all over the TV screen. I'll be shocked if he's not traded.

Heck, Larry Nance used 2 balls in the VERY FIRST CONTEST

Evans 2 ball attempt was much different though. Thats GOOD use of props.

I didn't watch the events live but from watching the shooting stars I can tell Parson's jumper looks pretty flat :)

Now I watched the dunk contest and yeah, it was pretty weak. That Jeremy Evans dunk was clearly the best but other than that it was weak. I didn't like Paul George's dunk in the dark.

Ummm, my post was a reply to the "more than 360" thing and I analyzed the angles from start to finish to determine what the actual spinning degree was. Why you reply with "it looks a trillion times better"? This is what is wrong with many people on this board, bad comprehension and always having the intention to bash someone or stamping your opinion on everybody else. Read my posts regarding the dunk, I ANALYZED how it went down and didn't bring in my opinion on it, just 100% watching the tape and detailling how it went down and how it compared to the one George did.

Also, "trillion times better, more this more that" is your subjective impression and if you examine the tape of George's dunk you would see that he was VERY close in terms of power, vert and finesse. It happened in the dark so you can not see it as easy, but replay and you'll see it was near Vince level, just a little bit less vert. Plus he did it in the dark.
But hey, I guess it's cool to bash the modern guys no matter what and glorify the old timers...

now compare the rest of his dunks to VC's dunks. it isnt about bashing "modern" guys. it's about a weak overall dunk contest. watch the James White, Gerald Green dunks on youtube. those guys have sick dunks and make the nba dunk contest look like Playskool.

Yup but that wasn't my point either. Why do you guys come up with so much stuff when I was just comparing the two 360 windmills and analyzed them, mostly replying to the "more than 360" statement?
When he says "trillion times better" it's clear he didn't carefully watch the George dunk or just wanted to hate.
