No one can get their head that high...

The top of Chase's head was even with the rim on that dunk.

Not even, the two balls one, the larry bird sticker, 360 windmill, dunk over 7'3 guy, 360 off side of the backboard, hell even the windmill over a motorcycle would've gotten over 47 or 48 in those days.

You do know that they gave Nique and MJ ridiculous scores on, normal windmills, and double clutch reverses and free throw line dunks. You can't even get over 45 if you did those dunks today.

For example, Demar Derozan's between the legs off the side of the back board scored a 44, and Ibaka's free throw line dunk was scored a 45. Take those dunks back to the 80's and they would've both gotten standing ovation 50's.

the theatricality killed the dunk contest, because participants have to keep upping the ante, and after a while, it's not even the dunks anymore that win it but the sideshow.

maybe they should go back to having a fixed set of dunks to choose from--windmill, 360, etc--and we judge the best dunks that participants show even if it's the same type of dunks. Then in the finals, they can have their creative dunks. Man, to have 3 original dunks, that's super-hard.

These guys don't complete their dunks on the 1st try either. Dunk is ruined after you miss it the 1st time. Even worse when they take more than 3 times to finish it.

*maybe* if he did the piggy-back thing that Paul George did.

He had to piggy back P.Diddy so it would be interesting to see what he would do using Yao.

His hand barely touched Diddy's back.

Don't think he used it to propel himself like George did off Hibbert.

He didn't push off Diddy much at all, he had more than enough elevation to jump through Diddy.

He probably had his hand to protect his jewels, just in case.

I am convinced now that Bud's facial muscles are permanently paralyzed. He pulled off some beastly throw downs with nary an expression. Now if only we can get him to stop play patty cakes on the court as often as he does.

The first dunk was the best. Would be better if Diddy raised his fist mid-dunk doing the "Black Power" salute that he did during the interview with Kenny. Wonder if Bud's jewels would clear Diddy's fist then.

They let him plug his network, or whatvr it was...

You can't compare dunks to dunks simply based on the kind it was. Different players look differently and each has their own flair, or lack thereof...Nique and MJ made dunks looks better.

Bud dunking over Woody with Rosie Perez there would have been gold.
