well he had 3 good games, and people were saying, he would be the best player on the rockets, if they didnt cut him, 3 good games, and they were saying he is better than lowry.
pretty interesting - Lin has the exact same birthdate as Kobe, just 10 years younger. Virgo - perfectionist and hate to lose Most great NBA players are Earth Signs. Kobe Bryant- Virgo Chris Paul- Taurus Lebron James- Capricorn Kevin Garnett - Taurus Tim Duncan- Taurus Tony Parker- Taurus Gilbert Arenas- Capricorn Dwayne Wade- Capricorn Yao Ming- Virgo Seems like Virgo are the type that work really hard on their craft in the off season
Good article detailing his development in Golden State and since then http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/25/s...tion-of-jeremy-lin-as-a-point-guard.html?_r=2
I actually thought the opposite. When I see him play I've thought, "wow, wait til he starts getting star player calls." I honestly don't remember a time he got to the line without actually being fouled.
I was amazed at how slow Lin's shot release was and how other teams weren't able to just block it. He's very indecisive at times and that slow release is because he is anticipating a block so he can pull back and drive but at the end of the day when he shoots it's rather slow imo. When he drives he still doesn't have the elevation to finish with a flush in traffic and that slow release tear drop isn't going to work against a hyper defensive shot blocker, ie Miami.
Lin has a really high arc on his shots. Especially in the paint. Quicker shot releases won't matter in the NBA since defenders usually are 10" or more taller than you.
According to my observation and EPSN sport science lin's got one of the quickest release. You are wrong.
Funny you mentioned Ariza, now tell me, were there a 11 games stretch he shot 49% from 2 and 37% from 3 to go with 7.2fta?
Between this and hp's AI comparison, I'd say would be the two more accurate ones. The AB comparison is way off.

It's something I noticed in every game he played in and that's compared to guys like Nash etc... When he got blocked by Joel Anthony going to the rim I cringed. I knew Lin probably had to take it in stronger and flush it but not sure if he had that kind of elevation in any type of traffic.
I get the sneaking feeling Lin and Blake are going to be teammates one day - just a hunch... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NT9djzGM9bo?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> What's up with Lin's knee? <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YmsjtYd8TYM?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He is the flavour of the moment Although they had to apologize http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=215852 Much like the "chink in the armour" furore. To think, Yao was only called a "Chinaman" after a dunk. Bring on the Linsanity!
