Smoother. Way smoother lol. I'm loving the card style tabs. I'm also really liking the features it has if you already use Chrome on a desktop. For example, it will let me see what open tabs i have up on my computer at the moment. Pretty legit.
*typical post from disgruntled phone user about being stuck in prehistoric times and being jealous of everyone that has new phones and Android 4.0*
sucks. If someone somehow hacks the app and makes it compatible with 2.3 (I wouldn't be the one to do it), I'll post the app on here.
Seems to work nicely on the TouchPad. Haven't really played with it much, but does seem a lot faster and smoother than the default browser (or some others I've tried). Good stuff.
Wow, definitely faster and smoother. Good to have auto-correct added. And the font looks different. Roboto? Is there a way to request the desktop site and access bookmarks quicker? In the stock browser you can hold down the back button to get to bookmarks quickly.
I'm still messing around with it but I haven't found anyway to access them quicker. Has anyone checked out Tilt Scrolling? <object width="640" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2bzdcw6WSr8&rel=0&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2bzdcw6WSr8&rel=0&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></embed></object>
I have an otterbox case (the hybrid one, not that fat ass defender series) and an unopened Skinomi screen protector that I'm willing to let both go for just $25 Otterbox is brand new too but I opened to try it and decided that I hated it shortly within the next couple of minutes lol PM me. We can meet up somewhere (has to be close to either the Heights, or Spring as it's only $20 lol) or I'm willing to ship it out to you, and you can pay me via paypal Otterbox is for the LTE version (also fits extended battery), Skinomi will work for both versions
Sorry guys, I'm absolutely terrible about checking the e-mail address I have on file with CF. I have it updated now, so feel free to ask me questions about anything Android related. I wasn't ignoring any of you guys
I think so, but I'm not sure as to when though. For those of you thinking about switching to VZW. Amazon is selling the phone for $99 on a new two year contract, plus 4gb of data for only $30
yeah... don't plan on going the official cm9 route for a while. diggin' my setup. it's almost as if android is too customizable. tiresome.
Lots of place holders for future features that are already available in AOKP. It's extremely stock. One of the things I loved about Cyanogen was all of the features that were included and obviously this is just a first nightly build but other dev's have been pouring in tons of time into implementing features and making them work well. A lot of people think that AOKP is a "kang" of CM9 but that isn't true. Like CM9, it's built from the AOSP source with it's own set of features that are pretty unique. Although both roms do have similarities I was expecting something different I suppose especially since ROMS have come a long way since the December 15th release of the LTE Nexus. The only thing that I'm looking forward to is Theme Choose working again (Not supported for the Galaxy Nexus currently)
