As a grown man enlisted to go to war I understand I purposely put myself in harms way. Children no matter what background or ethnicity they come from did not ask to be put in the crossfire. You can call me the better man or a rat. I honestly don't care. All I know is you are the type of person who if he sees me in my uniform well tell me "thank you for your service" having no clue what I've seen and assume that all of us service members have hive minds and think like you with the " AMERICA! You obviously don't know that esteban is a proud vet. I smell a rat because if you think like the way most of the lefties here, why do you even join the marines? I guess you do have to be liberal to have sympathy towards children that are not American born. And because I don't scream in bold letters my rage over fallen troops doesn't mean I haven't lost close friends and have mourned. That's my own personnel time. And btw I'm still active duty about to be getting out. And someone telling me they are a vet doesn't mean much to me. Every one who completes their enlistment is considered a vet. There are about 200,000 Marines. Only about 20% have a combat action ribbon, as in they have actually seen combat. Your admin, supply, etc Marines will have different experiences than me and thus have different opinions.
They're not lying, they're just wrong. I don't feel that any of these people are willfully not telling the truth. They're telling the truth as they see it, through biased eyes that see a reality they either want to exist, or believe does exist, or both. Except for maybe Mathloom, dude lies like crazy.
So are you a lefty? I'm a conservative and I love all children American born or not. I just don't use them in my arguments while spewing my ideology. You don't sound right when you said someone who is a vet does not mean much to you. In the military we are one big family, trying to do our job from the mess hall to front line combat.
