Yeah, thats true. They said this thing is supposed to get ICS in march... though I wouldn't bank on that date considering the Galaxy S II has yet to get it and they said it would get it in January.

Oh, I know :) I was just stating for those who didn't know or didn't care. For some reason, my completely stock Galaxy player 4.0 is FAST with Touchwiz. I'd say it's faster than my old Droid Charge.

I haven't gotten around to trying Touch Wiz on a tablet though so I'll take your word for it :p

People do like it though, someone is actually working on a Touchwiz port for the Galaxy Nexus. Yeah I know, crazy lol

I've been watching tons of reviews on this thing. It looks awesome! I hope the rumor that it is coming to Sprint is true (same rumor that says it's coming to Verizon). If it does, I will own one. I'm due for an upgrade in April, which will be about the time this would hit Sprint (from what I've read). I don't care how ugly or big you think this phone is, it definitely has a niche in the market. It can fit in a pocket, and if you use bluetooth, it doesn't look goofy when you call from it.

Samsung is making some nice phones lately. If this thing doesn't come to Sprint, my next phone will be the S 2 or the Nexus Prime - I'm still debating which is better, although I think I'm leaning towards the Nexus Prime.

If you're on Sprint, go with the Nexus. You'll get official Google Wallet support :)
Plus, there's a rumor the sprint version will be clocked in at a stable 1.5ghz.

I don't know if I can wait till June though. I can't stand how slow my Hero is, knowing how much faster the newer phones are.

On top of that, I should be starting an education program in August that will require significant computer time. I think the note/journal would be perfect for this if I ever have computer problems.

That's true, but considering the Nexus has already been announced for Sprint, I'm only assuming it will be released before the note, plus LTE :)

However, the note/journal does sound like a good solution for you. Hope it works out

When I first moved into my apartment a few years ago my PC died within a week (awesome luck, I know). For about a month after that point I exclusively used my iPhone for internet access and messaging. I managed to get by on a 3.5 inch screen, I bet the Note would be outstanding in that type of scenario. Like Scion said -- gl, hope it comes to Sprint for ya.

I never use the Stylus. I have an iPhone 4S and the Galaxy Note, and I never use the iPhone 4S. Never.

I think either of the two would be great. I will end up with one of the two (with the S II having an outside shot). What sucks is I live in a town of like 150,000 people. We won't be getting LTE for a long time, if ever. Hell, we don't have 4g for Sprint, and you don't even get 3g in the outlying towns. That's my biggest issue with Sprint.

My Hero is so slow on the internet. It's just slow in general. A lot of that is cuz it's old. Some is cuz of the network, though.

I have a hard time believing Samsung would spend that kind of money to advertise the Note in (what I believe) the longest commercial of the night, if it was only going to be on At&T.

    Anyone agree?

    -----

Also, I had made a previous post about my phone (Hero) spazzing out on the browser and on text. When typing on either, and just under those apps (or anything you can type in), my phone spazzes as if someone is holding their finger on the screen. While texting, after just about every letter I type, it brings up the copy/paste/cut/etc. menu. When in the browser, anytime I try to type something, it brings up the back/home/settings/etc. menu. This happens for about 30 minutes every few hours. Very annoying. Sprint says it's just the software on the phone. I'm going to have it reset tomorrow. Doubt it works.

None of their phones stay exclusive for long. As far as your theory, ATT could have dumped money into it as part of a co-op.

Is anyone using this phone with T-mobile? How’s the battery life?

I doubt anyone is. Even the unlocked GSM version only support AT&T 3g bands. I'd hate to have that phone on EDGE lol

It does, but HSPA+ can be deployed at different frequencies. I wish we all had one standard :(

Got it right on the 19th. Been pretty impressed with it so far. The HD screen is rediculous!

Can't wait for ICS to officially release for it.
