    I know you are just repeating what the article said - but I think it is a "stretch" to call Daniel von Bargen a "star" of Seinfeld. He played a great character but it wasn't a main character - a recurring one. If he was a star of Seinfeld so then was the guy that played Peterman and the one that played Bania, and the one that played Mickey, etc. I know I am quibbling but when I first read the headline, I thought that it was someone like Jason Alexander, Michael Richards, or Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

    At any rate, I hope that von Bargen makes a recovery and can get some help for his problems. He is a great actor.

    That's sad man, I was in line for a 911 dispatcher job in Vegas last year but the process took forever. Anyway, we had to hear tape of some actual phone calls and one had a suicide attempt on it, very graphic. You actually heard the guy moaning as he died as he shot himself.

    Needless to say some of us came out of that pretty deer-eyed.

    Hope he makes it out alright.

    You have to get the context, he has severe diabetes and they would've amputated parts of his body. Some people can't deal with that **** and don't want to live.

    Man, I shouldn't have listened, that was kinda depressing. 911 Operator was very good and professional.

    Not sure what money has to do with it considering his failing health and private life.
