    He's a kid.

Andrew Bynum was the exact same way until Kobe, Fish, Phil and Kareem drilled some sense in him.

The real question is JaVale or Pau (and his contract)

    I'd take McGee...

He's been in the league four years and has not learned a single thing. I wouldn't mind him as a backup center, but then he wouldn't be worth the money some foolish team will surely pay him.

Curious how many people actually watch Wizards games other than just the highlights.

He has been playing for the Wizards, 'nuff said.

After watching the paint get mutilated night after night, McGee would be a welcomed sight sending balls back to sender...just saying.

    Is he the best? No.

Would he fill a need? Yes.

Would he fit in? I say yes.

Learning from McHale would either make him or break him. If he came cheap, I'd take him.

He's a kid? He's already 24. How much older does he need to be to stop acting like a moron? He's not making any better decisions on the court now than he did three seasons ago.

Don't really see the similarity between the two other than they both had attitude issues, though I don't even think their demeanors are anything alike.

Bynum was never as clueless on the court as McGee. Court awareness and bball IQ are something you have or you don't.

Bynum is also a "tough guy," where McGee is the exact opposite.

With everything I've said, I wouldn't hate trading for McGee at the right price--he's probably an upgrade over our crappy 5 production. But I wouldn't pay the price Washington will likely demand for him. I wouldn't give up the Pau Gasol package for him, for example.

    Bad joke was atrocious.

Anyway, I'd take him. He has made some boneheaded plays in the recent past but who the hell do the Wizards have to help this kid mature mentally and physically with his all around game, Rashard Lewis?

I mean I think he'd be a great buy low, high-reward low risk play, he makes peanuts compared to what Thabeet and J Hill are holding on the books.

Plus we have jacksh!t at the center position besides Da-Bear.

It could just be a matter of getting him away from that roster....or not. But you take him at his current salary.

Yes, but only on the condition that he spends the entire offseason doing pushups and writing book reports.

When CH asked what should we do if we don't get a superstar. My suggestion was signing mcgee and lopez. I would do what utah did and get 2 young bigs who can still get better. I'll admit that mcgee still has some growing up to do. What can't be denied is his production despite his immaturity.

This proves again why fans can never be general managers, even if it were possible and you would be filthy rich and buy your way into an organisation.
McGee is at the bottom of the list.

McGee is a proven talent... sure he is the most knuckleheaded player in the league... SO WHAT..!!

Who cares if he just volleyball lobbed a block into the stands the other day(NOT ME)... in fact if i was watching a rockets game and he was our center and he did that, i would jump emphatically and YELLL "Not In This House..!!!"

But since he is on the youngest team in the league, and the worst team, it shines brighter... He has no motivation to really care on that team... Sure he should be more proffessional(which he still has been, still works hard and protects the paint) but i dont hate him for enjoying himself in "knucklehead" ways..

Who knows if he would change on our team... what i do know is i would love his blocking and rebounding abilities...So would all the "play thabeet" supporters who are just begging for a blocking presence...

He would make our front court much improved and would come at a low price...

    I say Helll Yess...
