And then in the Finals, a team finally realized you don't need to guard him.

Uh...Rondo. Rajon's jumper is suspect but outside of that he has the upper hand in pretty much everything over Lowry, they are about the same with rebounding. Rondo is a much better floor general. Much better playmaker, you could go ether way on Defense I would go with Rondo.

Jrue Holiday had a good game offensively vs Lowry tonight.

I don't get why some people have some natural agenda against Lowry.

He's no McGrady, Pippen nor Francis. Those guys I would understand.

He works hard, plays hard, blossomed under the rockets with hard work. He's everything we want from a player, besides throwing the ball at the refs of course. What's not to like about him?

I like Lowry because he's tough and he plays hard on both ends. He doesn't have the most natural talent, but he gets a lot out of the tools he has. A lot of guys in the league feel they deserve to just get playing time because of their physical tools or talent. I have more respect for players like Lowry who earned their spots in the rotation by improving their body/game and leaving it all out on the floor. Those are the type of players I root for.

All that said, he flops. A lot. Maybe some people don't like him because of that.

For what this team needs Rondo would probably not fit as well with our team full of guys who need Lowrys scoring ability more thans Rondos tiny bit extra defense.

I still say they are very similar point guards but Lowry evolved to add three point range and Rondo still can't shoot for sh**

    So Lowry is better now.

Well I wont be moved on the subject. Hate on Lowry but the guy is better for this team than Rondo would be. At some point Rondo might be better for a team with 3 stars who can score from everywhere. With this team? Lowry needs to be the third or second star to someone else the way it is being built. Rondo is not better. We could argue the Celtics would win back to back championships with someone similar to Lowry as their starting point guard in those competing years.

Right. Boston, led by Rondo, is 25th in offense.

Houston, led by Lowry, is 9th in offense.

    Do you disagree with that?

My your same extremely flawed argument:

Boston, led by Rondo, 2nd in defense.

Houston, led by Lowry, 19th in defense.

Teams are responsible for those ratings, not individual players.

Only one thing matters here, which i'm sure has already been said:

    Rondo can't shoot. No Thanks.

You referred to our offense as "Lowry-ball". So blame Lowry for other guys having a down year, but spread the credit to the entire team for our offense remaining top 10?

Uhh you were talking about making teammates better and he countered with team production and then you asked what team production has anything to do with it.
