The Spurs are extremely impressive in close games this year. They somehow have been making plays in every game. Getting the shot that they want. A bit of it is luck (CP3 turnover) but their current winning streak is remarkable. *Obligatory health Ginobili comment*
This thread makes me laugh..last year of contention? Yeah I still believe at the end of the day, Spurs will go as far as Ginobili takes them, but Spurs will have a crap load of money this summer to offer someone a max contract, but I fully expect to make a hard push at Roy Hibbert. Spurs also have the best big man in Europe Erazem Lorbek who they got in the George Hill trade, who claims he wants to play with is next year. Big man is the only thing Spurs have struggled with, and our wings will only improve with a full training camp from Leonard, and Anderson, and RJ amnestied.
you've reversed jinx the Spurs dude. you need to hate the Rockets so we can have a long winning streak
I am defending rocket history man, even the losers...... Take a good at the poll, it was not that clear before the season.... now all is hindsight I don't have a bone to pick with you or your second favorite team.
this is from last year and they lost to the Thunder.... second tier contenders at best Now this year it's a completely different outlook
The prediction was made at the start of the regular season last year.... I did say I was wrong did I not? there was a poll and the majority thought they were top 5 in the West but not Top 3 overall 94-66
After TD is gone, TP will be on back end, and Manu will be on last legs. Kawhi needs to step up big time, along with Splitter, and Green. I don't see any stars except maybe, MAYBE Kawhi. Everyone else is a great role player at most. Splitter might get a shot out of the lack of quality Centers.
