Kinda hard to say. Deron seems to be the I play when I wanna play type, and he has nothing to play for in NJ right now. I think you will see a completely different player next season.

    Maybe, maybe not.
He's pretty equal to Lowry imo.

I don't think they'll be losing a lot of games anytime soon.
Despite Deron Williams going off and the entire Nets offense going off at the 3pt line the Knicks only lost by a very small amount.

    That's ridiculous.

... are you serious? Lowry is equal to Deron Williams?

He is not there right now but awfully close.
If you put Deron at the first tier of point guards.
Lowry leads the 2nd tier of PGs and is closing in on the elite guards.

c'mon man! DWill is better than Jeremy. Jeremy was playing as good or better than him during that 6 game stretch.

Asian or not asian, get real.

Thats a much more realistic view of things. Lowry's offensive skillset will never matchup with Deron, but Lowry's much better on defense.

Wow people. Deron Williams is a top three PG. I love Westbrook and Rondo, but that's effing ridiculous. And Lowry? I love the way he plays but Deron Williams is a monster. People seem to forget how much he dominated in Utah for 5 years. He DESTROYED us in the playoffs. He has DESTROYED CP3 on multiple occasions. Sure, his best moments have not been in NJ, but he is EASILY top 3. WTF.

Deron Williams is a great talent. He has not been playing well since he went to NJ, probably because he is unmotivated. Last night was obvious that he had a chip on his shoulder against Lin. When DWill is motivated, he is elite. No question about it.

Rofl @ where this thread is going.

Shouldn't us as Rocket fans at least be aware of how amazing Deron Williams is? He is easily a top tier PG, he is just on a very irrelevant team.

Lowry is having a great season.. but sorry DWill >>> Lowry..
not talking about value though because we have Lowry at a pretty good bargain compared to what DWill is/will be making

    DWill > Lowry
DWill 92, Lowry 84 (If there's a stat that measures how good players are, then those are what I think they should be getting)

If Lin somehow landed back on the Rockets roster, would he get playing time, even now? His turnovers are atrocious and I can't really picture McHale putting up with it. We already have scorers who can fill it up without giving up so many possessions. In NY, Lin might have found the one coach who will give him the green light despite this gigantic gaping hole in his game.

Fact is, even now with the rockets, kyle would be getting the bulk, he is just more efficient. Jeremy maybe would be a spark off the bench, but for our team, it wouldn't be linsanity, that is a fact.

When DWill is motivated, he is arguably the best in the PG league. We saw it in Utah.

Clearly, the first meeting with Lin motivated him.
