    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liga_ACB ;)

King's cup = Copa del Rey.
3pt line is under FIBA's rules, 6.25 meters from the the basket (almost half meter further than NCAA 3pt line).

If Rubio can carry it off, Llull too. That's for sure.

    Good one, BRR

This is why big news should be its own thread... it was actually discussed as it happened in a Sergio Llull thread, but no one would know about the news unless it was a visible thread. I'll split it out.

    According to the European commentators:
Spanish league is the best league in Europe, and it's not even close.
( i heard commentators from a DIFFERENT league saying that)

So this is an impressive effort, to be MVP in the biggest game in Europe.

Grizzlies have a 7 footer on the bench right? Patterson looks like the tallest guy on the floor.

Given how Rubio has performed in the NBA, is it reasonable to try to convince Llull to come over with the guarantee for heavy playing time?

Someone brought this up in another thread, but it's not crazy anymore to think that Pau Gasol could be a package deal along with Llull, especially with Dragic being a RFA next year. Now whether I'd trade Lowry for Gasol is another matter, but it does make you think...

The wet, somewhat disheveled hair reminds of Nash

I had a dream last night that we released him for no apparent reason. Some people on clutchfans were pissed but I couldn't figure out why. Weird timing.

It was my understanding SL is a 1/2. I agree with the "if Rubio then Lull" logic comments.

IMHO - - Dragic is a likely March evacuee.

And we ain't trading this guy's rights to Minnesota to make Rubio happy.

Um....unless we go after Derrick Williams, but even then, nope.

    Llull looks like a playa.

Thats your main issue right there. There are a few things that are reasons why Llull wants to stay with Real Madrid until his contract is up after next season.

-Currently in a key starters role with Real Madrid, one of the more popular teams in Europe.
-After his third year after being drafted he is no longer bound to the rookie scale contract that he would have to take. So the longer he waits, the more money he stands to make.
-The Rockets are deep at the PG spot at the moment. That could change alot this summer, but untill Llull knows for sure that a role is carved out for him, whats the point of taking on a lower amount of salary(plus keep in mind value of dollar. I believe Llull is making somewhere are 1.5 Euros a year.) and sitting at the end of the bench when he could make more money and have a key role with a popular team in his home country??

However, Sergio has expressed his interest to one day come over to the NBA, and he is the type of player that should actually age pretty well. I believe Sergio has one more year left on his contract so more than likely the Rockets are looking at not this summer but next as the one they bring him over.
