I just saw this and the part where he was talking about the good old days where kids can work reminded me of Newt. Someone with skill should make a New version of this

white lightning is more accurate than bigtexxx.

Captain Norval Marley was himself born to a Jamaican Woman and a British man.

they all come from a line of Syrian Jews.

not that any of these facts matter, it seems bigtexxx doesn't appreciate when someone of mixed heritage identifies with their black roots, like Obama or Bob Marley. god knows they must have had it easy, being half white and all.

Why should bigtexx trust the author of Marley's biographer who spent months interviewing Marley family members to find out the details behind Marley's ancestry, when he has google image at his disposal?

I wanted to post this in here. Video is from last Thursday evening in Washington. Ron Paul spoke and the room they had only held a thousand people, and they over 2,000 attending. After the event, before leaving, Ron steps out of the vehicle and speaks to the people on the outside. Love the music to this video as well. Wow.

    check the facts!

why do you go out of your way to make sure we all know Bob Marley, like our president, is only half black/ half white, yet Marley's father who you describe is white, is the exact same mixed heritage?

why? because he looks more white in a black and white photo?

this is obviously for the other thread but I am intrigued why you would bring this up into the conversation. why does a man who identifies with his black side bother you so much?

ToyCen, do you have a link showing active duty troops prefer Ron Paul? Curious as to the breakdown of voting among the republican candidates.

and here is a release from the campaign:

RON PAUL MILITARY DONATIONS NEARLY TWICE THOSE OF HIS GOP RIVALS AND OBAMA—COMBINED
ACTIVE-MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN SUPPORT DR. PAUL ABOUT THREE TIMES MORE THAN OBAMA, AND SIX TIMES MORE THAN COMBINED REPUBLICAN OPPONENTS

Putting aside the Paul fantasy right now, the race is getting pretty interesting. Not sure if Santorum can hold on to Michigan, but if he can split Michigan & Arizona, Santorum looks to be in fantastic shape for Super Tuesday - lots of southern & midwestern states along with some quirky caucuses (North Dakota, Idaho, Alaska) that hopefully Ron Paul can win since no one is paying attention. Romney really only looks solid in MA that day. If Santorum does well then, he's got to be considered the front runner, despite Romney's money. The whole argument for Romney is that he's inevitable, but if he's not winning despite all the financial and establishment advantages, that facade will come crumbling down.

I've said for a while that I don't think Romney is the nominee, but I thought Newt was the only candidate that might survive. I never imagined Santorum could pull this off - and he still has to hold on for dear life this coming Tuesday, but if he can do it, there's going to be a huge change in the race. Wednesday's debate looms large as well given how much debates have changed the trajectory of the race thus far.

I can't find where it was but Newt says that if Mitt doesn't win in Michigan he should drop out lol

I hope they could make one of those wild Clutchfan-like bets where whoever loses in their own state has to drop out (Michigan-Romney Georgia-Newt)

i'm as surprised as the rest that santorum has taken, or at least challenging, for the top spot. the more he speaks, the more november voters he is turning away.

Yeah, I fear that the longer santorum sticks around, the more people will start to understand what he's made of and where he really comes from.

At this point, do any republicans on the board feel they have a real shot come November?

No flame, honestly. I know that a lot could happen between today and then but I just can't see either of these guys putting up much of a fight in the general election. Independents are NOT going to vote for someone as loony tunes as Santorum. The base is NOT going to come out in force for Romney. How do either of them win?
