    This went really high in the charts at the end of '69 / beginning of '70, though it seems to be forgotten.

    And to get really tricky, the Beatles demo'd this song several times before Paul McCartney gave it to Badfinger, and the Beatles recordings are still out there:

    My girlfriend just mentioned the incredibly bad Sgt. Peppers movie. It contained a nice version of Aerosmith doing Come Together:

    pshaw- that's not even the best beatles cover at woodstock.

    can't find ritchie haven's hear comes the sun at woodstock, although there is strawberry fields forever.

    Funny timing of this thread. I happened upon a Beatles cover band Saturday night out at a bar. They were great..wore the wigs and everything. Lead singer looked a ton like Lennon.
