You know what, you're right, I for some reason was thinking Jefferson lucked up and got into the game after one of those monster seasons in Minny, musta confused him with Z-Bo. It's not hard to confuse the two imo. lol
Come on Houston, keep the big guy in the rotation. Give him confidence and opportunties so he can properly develop. And to everyone who said the next Chuck Hayes, that's cute and all but this guy has shown he can run the floor, finish strong and block shots.
How does this guy go undrafted? I can understand how Lin goes undrafted, but how does no NBA team even consider taking a flier on somebody like Smith? He is 20 years old with an NBA-ready body. I mean how many prospects are there like that in this draft?
The Rockets HAVE TO develop this guy, so much OBVIOUS potential. Don't screw this up by letting him rot on the bench. Work with this kid. He is only twenty; probably a seven footer in the making. Has a motor. Let's do this.

Like giving Linn's spot to Flynn? I know, Flynn has a three year contract, but surely something could have been worked out. I raved about Linn on the board when he was here and was absolutely shocked when he was cut. Morey said no body saw this coming, but several of us on the board made Linn an issue to no avail.
LOL! Yeah like that. I was shocked too after how much he showed in the little time he got to play. I thought it was almost obvious he would be pretty good within that small sample size. Like you said, people say it was impossible for Morey to know. I dont buy it. I kind of saw it and you did.
