Yep that is what I said and that doesn't make him the but for cause nor does it making the blame or put him at fault. When I said that people came out talking like I was saying Lin was responsible/at fault/to blame for Melo's injury. You yourself thought that I was implying that. However, I wasn't saying that was fact but instead saying that I think that the odds are that he wouldn't have ended up with that injury without Lin on the court. I couldn't argue for it being the but for cause if I'm not sure that without it the event wouldn't have occurred which my original statement made clear that I didn't. My argument for the but for cause was that even if you accepted what I said as fact Lin still isn't responsible/at fault/to blame for the injury because his but for causation isn't enough to create that.

New motivational video released today by the MuscleProdigyTV guys on Youtube. Really great. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/51umej5SvXc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I was going to say maybe but then i woke up. 1 Win - 4 loses in that stretch with a better roster (compared to 8-1, with a run down Amare).... Anybody can produce numbers with heavy minutes. However, the ability to gain respect among team mates, get wins, develop chemistry, looked as a leader >>>>> stats. Right now Lin has both tangibles and intangibles unlike our ex Rocket Shane. Imagine Shane with his intangibles producing 20-10 every night (he would of been a superstar).
This video made me teary eyed when they start showing his training routine. You can tell, he truly wants to become great. I honestly hope that there are people still doubting him out there....I believe that is one of the things that fuels him.
Well if you say they aren't I guess they aren't. I mean, it's not as if I said that. But keep pluggin away!! Edit: Oh my, ESPN just ran a stat noting Lin is the 1st player to have at least 28 pts, 14 dimes and 5 steals against the reigning NBA champion. LMAO. Really.....
Yeah, the Lakers were tired. And guess what? So were the Knicks when they had 4 games in 5 nights, and managed to win them all. You can't downplay the impressiveness of the Lakers win, while ignoring the fact that the Knicks overcame even greater fatigue in the midst of their run.
Why can't I? We downplay what happens off b2b's all the time. Why do you think there is a yearly thread complaining about the number of b2b games that we have? If I go into some of our game threads we won't see comments about our team being gassed? Yes, NY overcoming their fatigue to win 4 in 5 nights is impressive. It would be more impressive if most of those teams didn't suck. The upcoming teams don't suck, so we will see what happens. The Mavs don't suck and they handled their business, Lin included.
Not saying you can't. I'm saying that it's inconsistent to downplay one team's fatigue, while ignoring another playing through even worse fatigue. But, you do seem to agree that it was impressive, so we're in agreement. I'll also agree that it would be more impressive if they had beaten 4 powerhouses in 5 nights. Just like it would have been more impressive if Hakeem won 3 championships instead of 2. But c'est la vie.
Call me when the Knicks beat the Heat and the Mavs in the same day. Both teams must have a 5 day hiatus to prepare. Lin must have a cold and his PS3 account will be hacked the previous day. THEN I'll give him some real props.
I'm really tired of you people falling back on the "All you Lin fans aren't real Rockets fans" argument when Lin continues destroying all your predictions and analysis about his performances look worse and worse with every passing game. What a pathetic, trite attempt to ruin other people's enjoyment just so you get the chance to say "Hah I was right all along." Ranks right up there with "If you don't vote for X, you aren't real Americans."
I was like "WTF" when I read this post. This is a rumor that there is Boozer for Gasol trade flowing around. That is all. The Bulls would win big with that trade. Why would the Lakers do it?
