The Natural - what a movie, what a cast, what great cinematography.

And here is the full version.

Cool that YouTube has full movies now.

Agree it is the best, or do you guys think there is a better one out there?

I do too. Connection of father/son to baseball is part of my experience growing up, fortunately.

Field of Dreams is indeed a fine movie, well acted, well shot, and a great script.

What others are out there, and are there any that are outside the realm of baseball, which does lend itself quite well to the movies?

Thanks for the link. Downloading it now!

For the Love of the Game with Kevin Costner is also surprisingly good.

Baseball themes just make the best sports movies...

I love that picture, but I hate how it's not quite balanced. Benny should be closer and away from the other dude. Those were your two best players. One should be on one side, one should be on the other. The Catcher is fine in the front, he's kinda like the mouth piece. The Who is Baby Ruth on the right needs to be in the back because he sucked.

I totally forgot about The Bad News Bears. Walter Matthau might be the greatest little league coach ever!

And who could forget this scene from The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training...

    Bull Durham is my favorite.

Though Field of Dreams & For Love of the Game really pull to your emotions about the sport.

Kevin Costner makes great baseball movies. No doubt about it.
