I think its partially respect and partially understanding his weakness or the weakness he has shown to turn the ball over.
So glad Lin has adjusted and minimized the turnovers. As Tim Legler has pointed out on ESPN last week, TOs are easy to correct. If you're smart, study film and try to not make those "home run" passes. Lin is smart and he is doing just that. Plus, he's kept up his consistent scoring. He's going to be a beast once Melo comes back.
his learned so much after just 8 games... imagine a full season, if melo can connect into this system, playoffs will be interesting.
Yep. And he was saying that JR Smith has the fifth best 3 pt % in the last several seasons at like 36 %. They showed the stat on the screen and it was the fifth most three pointers made. He still didn't get it.
well he just answered why he looked like just going through motions with us. it took two cuts for him to decide to go all in. good for him tears in my eyes. we are all jeremy lin one or another. keep fighting.e
I personally am not a fan of the fact that he feels the need to analyze every. single. little. thing. that happens on the court. There comes a point where you're talking too much, and I think Hubie needs to know that he doesn't need to fill every empty space. Same with Doug Collins, when he was announcing. Imagine Brown and Collins on the same broadcast You wouldn't hear a moment of silence.
I actually appreciate his analysis. Sometimes makes you notice things which you were not thinking about before.
I also appreciate the in-depth analysis as I think that's what he gets paid to do. A lot of commentators these days just say things without thinking (Charles Barkley). I think it's good to entertain as well as educate the audiences on the nuances of the game.
