http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ss-conference-as-Adam-Booth-gets-injured.html Chisora has been arrested by German police, they are still looking for Haye. Chisora slapped Vitali Klitschko before the fight and spat into Wladimir Klitschko's face in the ring before the fight. The funniest remark came from British Boxing Board of Control general secretary Robert Smith, who indicated the governing body would launch an investigation. "It was extremenly disappointing and disgusting really," he said. "There will be hearing. I've seen the footage this morning and it doesn't do the sport any good, or Britain. It was like 'Brits abroad'. So true... The fight itself was rather boring, but the brawl at the press conference was quite entertaining: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lWrNGUeW2i8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It's such a shame that America never got behind the K brothers and support them. Here we have perhaps two of the greatest heavyweights in the history of boxing. Vitali's knockouts percentage is near 90% and ranked no 1 all time. Wlad is also a ko artist and ranked no 4 all time. They are both classy, educated, speak multiple languages, humanitarians and true ambassadors for the sport of boxing. I have heard every possible excuse and put down about the brothers: their style is boring, there are no interests in their fights(HBO's bullshiit reason for not showing their fights), the brothers put a strangle hold on the heavyweight divisions, heavyweight boxing is dead(just because there are no American champions), you get the picture. What happened Saturday night is a rude awakening for Americans as well as Britons. You have seen the ghetto, thuggish Tyson wannabe behaviors from these black Brittish scums disguised as fighters. Chisora slaped Vitali at the weigh-in and Vitali being the civilized champion that he is did not retaliate and let his fists do the talking in the ring ,with the victory over Chisora fighting basically only with the right arm(he injured his left shoulder but never even spoke about it post fight as an excuse). Chisora also spat water into Wlad's face in the ring before the fight and Wlad being the civilized champion that he is did not retaliate either. When Wald gave David Gaye the beatdown last July in Hamburg, the classless, trash talker, sore loser ghetto punk blamed the defeat on his little injured toe. Gaye appeared at the post fight conference to insult Vitali and promptly got into a brawl with Chisora, broken glass and camera tripod were brandished as weapons and Adam Booth{Gaye's manager) received a bloody gash in the face. Chisora can be heard threatening to physically shoot and burn Gaye. German police arrested Chisora and now are looking for for Gaye. I really felt embarrassed for Britain to have these 2 thugs in British boxing. I hope America finally wakes up and appreciates the K brothers. They are the true civilized champions and ambassadors for the sport of boxing. End of rant.
***** please! Americans have no obligation or reason to support the Klitschko brothers. When was the last time one of them fought in the States and how often do they fight in the States? Every other year? Lennox was an equally classy boxer but I wouldn't expect Americans to support him unequivocally. I'm sorry, you act like boxers never pull stupid stunts like this. You act like boxers don't pull crap like Chisora did during his weigh-in EXCEPT if they're trying to garner more publicity. Yep, boxers never want more publicity for a fight(especially one in Munich).
I can't decide who is the bigger idiot. Hayes punked out in/after his Klitschko fight and Chisora seemed to feel like a tough guy cos he didn't use a toe injury as an excuse. Craziness. Hayes was a punk though because he glassed both Chisora and his own coach.Crazy.
I have to admit I dont know anything about them because I dont seek info out on them.. and the USA media doesnt give it to me. It's not that I dont care it's just that I am mainly consuming whats on the menu. The only thing on the menu is NFL and NBA with a little sprinkle of the other sports. I really only eat what's given to me. Right now for me for boxing, its mayweather and the possibility of him fighting pacquiao and I heard the gamboa fight is supposed to be good. I like boxing but ever since tyson I don't know..The last fight I saw the mayweather guy decked the guy when he wasnt looking. I just don't follow it enough to know about the 'K' brothers. I guess you can call me ignorant because I don't know, but again I'm getting enough with USA sports that my stomach is full. end rant With that in mind I have no idea who Chisora is and perhaps I am missing out on a whole string of intrigue? What is the deal? If I follow the USA side they would have you believe the heavyweight division doesnt even exist anymore. So what's the deal with the K? Where are we at with the heavyweight division? Who is the next Tyson? Are there any 10-0 , 11-0 , 13-0 kinda guys out there I could follow? Bring me up to speed please.
They're not Americans so people don't give a ****, and/or they don't fight enough here for people to care.
The reason the K brothers do not fight in the states is because America(let by the media and specifically the sorry and shameful HBO) rejects them. HBO stops carrying their fights for some of the lamest excuses. That is the main reason why most of their fight take place in Germany. The Germans adore the K brothers and freely throw their support behind these 2 wonderful champions unlike America. Yes, boxers pull stupid stunts like this in the past but never like this type of thuggish behaviors that involved broken glass, camera tripod, bloody gash and police arrests. So we would rather look for a non existence American heavyweight champion instead of cheering for the true undisputed people's champions like the K brothers? Makes a lot of sense to me.
1. I'm an American but I'm also a citizen of a couple of other countries so I'm not as bothered by the need for an "American heavyweight champion" personally. I'm more bothered by the lack of true competition for the Klitschko's and in the division overall. 2. Yes boxers may have not pulled stunts like this before but maybe this is how far heavyweight boxing has sunk that Hayes and Chisora felt the need to take it to such new depths. 3.W.Klitschko's fight vs Haye was on HBO. You can't pin it all on HBO. The Klitschko's haven't fought a ton of exciting fights televised by HBO and HBO's basis for ending the contract seemed to be the fact that the Klitschko's WERE having most of their fights in Germany rather than the States. Maybe both parties are in the wrong, I don't know. 4. The Germans throw their support behind those "champs" because THEY LIVE IN GERMANY!!! Why should Americans be obligated to throw their support behind them? 5.Since when was it a requirement for American's to cheer for whomever is the "true undisputed people's champion" ? I appreciate what the Klitschko's do but I'm not going to be upset that American's don't support them or know the difference between them.
And because they are educated class acts whose hearts are in the right place. Everything that is wrong with Chisora and Haye is right with the Klitschkos.
Never did I say they aren't educated class acts but that's just a sweetener for German fans that throw their support behind the Klitschko's. They have a connection to the States but they have a great connection to Germany and obviously when one adds the fact that they are classy champions and go about their business regardless of what the fans and tv networks think, then of course it gives fans more reasons to like them. Chisora and Hayes are not "black scum" like my fellow poster chose to label them above but one can say that they are trash. Basically they are chavs in every way.
He actually even used a huge tripod, after using a bottle first. I believe he accidentally hit his own coach with it.
I don't think he actually used the bottle. He just punched with the bottle in hand. Look at the picture, The bottle is under his hand facing away from the camera. Either way, looks like lifetime bans for both. http://msn.foxsports.com/boxing/sto...ye-facing-lifetime-bans-for-ugly-brawl-022012
