3 pretty decent coaches/ NBA men didn't get along with him. That does say quite a bit. But we should have given him more run to just be sure we didn't make a huge mistake. I guess we will find out next year.

I actually think that Dallas wanted Lin too but then Lin chose to go to near hometown GS

At least he's being honest. It doesn't seem like he's needed here. He still cheers for his teammates.

I don't know why people still say that TWill wasn't given enough chances to show what he can do. He played 20 minutes a game in the first 7 games of the season. Two of those games he played as much as 28 minutes.

And he is not an unknown rookie. He's been in the league for two full seasons. He's played for three coaches. People still think he is the victim of circumstances not getting deserved chances? What do they expect? We trade all the good players at his position away and hand him the reign without even making sure he can do the job? He can't even beat out TWO second rounders at his position.

I read it as: a productive Parsons and Morris (i.e. both are productive) in the wings (i.e. at the SF position).

Well, Morey did attempt to free up PT for him (along with keeping Jeremy Lin and getting 2 big men). Wasn't expecting "Basketball Reasons" to ruin it all.

    Man, f--k you Stern.

Are you using this as a legitimate excuse, or sarcasm? I could feed kids for a decade with one year of TWill's contract.

Good! I didn't want him here anyways. The guy will be washed out of the league within a couple years max.

We can all agree Morey failed big time but who knows, it might be because Les was desperate for a star and asked Daryl to go out and search for some1 whos available at a low price.

This off-season will prove once and for all what Morey can do, without a third team and helping others. We need to do something for just ourselves and get a great player.

We should definitely blame Morey because this wasn't a Maxwell type of deal. Vernon was great in college, had all kinds of records and was a deadly shooter and good defender, i.e. high risk, high reward.

Williams was a bust and being sent down to the d-league is a sign. Morey was dumb enough not to see it. High risk, low record.

    Wow.

I was a major fan of this trade when it went down. Its pretty obvious he has freakish raw skills.

But goes to show that the absolute most important part of a basketball player's makeup is what's between the ears.

I wish him well, but Terrence....you're no Jeremy Lin.

Jeremy Lin got beaten out by pretty much everyone on houston and the warriors roster plus pretty much everyone on the knicks roster despite his hard work. In fact he was going to get cut cause he sucked against the celits:

However D'Antoni had no option left threw so he threw him and out there and lin blew up. Twill might suck out there, he might also blow up. No one predicted Lin's success so the fact he got beaten out my so many people is irrelevant.

He may suck he may be great or somewhere in the middle. I don't think you can make a judgement.

Well why two teams cut him,and with a third team about to? Did what was between lin's ears change? Did he get a brain transplant?

If u can blow by people as you say and get your feet in the paint, that's all you need early as a player, the jumper can come later. I'm willing to be his jumper is better than parsons. Look, young guys need to play and learn from their mistakes. Look at parker who was a to box early without a jumper. Pop stayed on him and he got better to thepoint he's a high end, boderline hall of fame player. Not saying williams is in that boat, just saying young guys need to play and learn.

Lin = extremely high bball IQ and now in a system which maximizes that
T-Will - little bball IQ and little IQ in general

Williams is a 2,not a 3. Parson beat out chase. Williams is not a 3,he's not big enough for the most part.

Trading for TWill was the mistake. Trading away players so a substandard player can play is not a good move. He has had a year and half and two coaches. Both coaches agree TWill's best attribute is warming the bench for 2nd round picks Budinger and Parsons.

Adelman and McHale will play young guys. Martin and Lee are better. Even if Martin is traded, I doubt TWill gets any minutes. Those minutes would be taken by Lee, maybe Budinger a little, and Dragic (with Lowry guarding the 2).
