I would say his attitude is definitely not helping his situation but at the same time u have to look at this season. Barely a training camp, no practice time, new coaches, new system, and a guy with a half-hearted attitude at best. McHale isnt going to try and work a guy in that cant give effort the whole season.

I am a firm believer in making your own opinions of people but with this season and players practically learning the system in-game its hard to see him putting someone in to see if they are worth it and not let guys who are actually going to stick around get playing time.

What does a statement like this to the media do to his trade value? I mean it might not be a secret that the Rockets aren't interested him as much as Twill isn't interest in staying here, but making a statement like that, what team values him as a much in a trade if they can just wait until the off season to sign him? I doubt any team thinks that high of Twill that he could put them over the top this season?

Dude is getting paid nicely. Dude has one of the best jobs on the planet. If he can't sit back and root for his team, at least he can avoid whining like a biatch. Free TWillie to go form an all star team with AI, Marbury, and Stevie Franchise.

Couldn't that also be seen as compounding the mistake? Getting rid of better players to give this bonehead more of a chance?

He has got 3 kids at home. Three mouths to feed at the age of what 23, 24?

Agree. That's one of the reason why I don't hate Flynn and regret acquiring him. He just does not see the opportunity with our PGs are really solid. No matter how he plays well in practice, it s really difficult to get into rotation if the others (Lowry and Dragic) plays better than him.
In contrast, T-Will at least had the opportunity to see some PT because Lee was out for eight games in early January. He got major PT in first 3 of those, but since 4th game he never been given any minutes.
I can't tell whether this is a problem of attitude or simply his game is not in the NBA level, anyway he is not worth getting PT.

Flynn, on the other hand, be patient and see how things are going. If he can't see the opportunity, maybe he will be not on our roster after deadline. If he can, he will show us how he plays here and leave the decision to Morey.

The day Terrence Williams will be gone from the Rockets roster will be a happy day.

Although I'll give him that I found it pretty cool that he gave a few Clutchfans shoutouts.

Williams got beat out for a roster spot by Chandler Parsons, our second round pick. With Battier traded away, he had a golden opportunity to make the rotation and he didn't make the most of it.

Why is he blaming others for this?

It all goes back to the Pau Gasol trade. Had the Rockets got rid of KMart, Twill would have had a chance behind Courtney Lee.

Nope. Dragic and Bud would share the minutes at back up SG eventually.

I think Dragic was part of the deal.

Lee is afraid of contact. He settles for mid range shots a lot instead of driving and goes for layups a lot when he should dunk it - getting blocked a few times because of that decision.

It really is disappointing not to see what Twill could've done given minutes.:( This team is just stacked at SG position..Martin & Lee are better options then Twill right now...Morey tried to free up playing time for Twill by trading Martin but Stern wasn't having it...it really is sad to see the ripple effect of the rejected Gasol trade. We could've kept Lin, Twill would've gotten playing time, we could've signed Nene and resigned Chuck Hayes...I wish Twill best of luck wherever he goes.:(

    Yes and no.

Yes, it was a mistake (a big one) trading a first round pick for him.

No, if Williams really has talent as so many people have said, he would have gotten the chance to show it. Think about it. If he is really that talented, why do they have to clear out the roster for him? He's not some undrafted guy nobody knew about. (wink wink)

If it was only Chase on the bench at 3, I would agree to let T-Will play. However, with the emergence of a productive Parsons and Morris in the wings, T-Will is not going to get any minutes at all.

Morris has not emerged in the NBA.

It couldnt be that .... TWill just isnt a good basketball player ?

Cant shoot , doesnt defend , doesnt move without the ball and stops the ball on on offense ..... Then tries to make a highlight reel pass with the shot clock going down. He's a turnover waiting to happen.

LOL I hate to bring this up but if the Sterned deal had gone down we would have opened minutes up for him. IMHO that move has to be the worst disaster to hit this franchise, even worse than the Eddie Griffin deal. If it weren't for that we'd be Linning right about now.

We're not seeing what goes on in practice. My impression is a guy who doesn't focus and just runs his mouth, misses defensive assignments.

Avery Johnson, Rick Adelman, Kevin McHale all were unwilling to give him PT.

Time for a little self reflection.
