Rockets are awesome no matter what. Spurs = division rival. Parker seems to like having sex with his teammate's wives and is a douche.

    What's to like again?

I'm not a Spurs fans, but I don't hate them.
Least douchey team out of all (j*zz, Fagericks, Fakers).
Other than Manu Ginobitch of course.

What?? It's easy. I'm a fan of the Houston Rockets. I can admire the accomplishments of the Spurs organization, and that of their fine coach, who, like Rick Adelman, has an appointment in the future with the Hall of Fame, but being an admirer and a fan are two entirely different things. Perhaps what is simply confused about the difference. I'm certainly willing to give him a "pass" if that's the case. Sorry, what, but I'm spent too many games rooting against the Spurs while watching them play the Rockets in SA, not to mention countless times on LP. My brother-in-law has fine season tickets which he's been kind enough to let us use several times. While I may be severely outnumbered at the games, you can bet that I'm duded up in Rockets gear and howling for the cats in red to win.

Admire them? Yes. Fans of them? Not a chance. But I don't hate them. That's my highest compliment for an opposing team.

I highly suspect it has come down to sex. I think he had some flirt with her.
Sex could be involved but not necessarily.

RESPECTING an organization, players, and coaches, doesn't mean you have to be a fan. Of course you aren't a fan of your rivals.

No I just assumed that discriminating rockets' fans would be able to appreciate the greatness of another franchise because you all would appreciate good basketball in general and not let pettiness cloud judgement.

It's almost as if you rockets fans are butt hurt by the fact that tim and company surpassed hakeem's accomplishment. I hardly ever hear any bad blood over kobe, but since the spurs became the de facto texas team it's now a problem.

The Spurs are my 2nd team & I root for them except when they play the Rockets. During the last Rockets/Spurs game though, my wife said she couldn't believe I ever rooted for the Spurs. I was really down on the refs.

How can you be a Spurs fan when you consider yourself a Rockets fan?

I'm impressed but I got too much love for the Rockets to be a fan of any other team.

Because all these bad trades and draft picks since the back to back championship has been way out of hand.

So what? You'd decided to become the fan of a rival team from the same state instead? That's the very definition of a fair weather fan.

Now that I know he's a griz fan, that terrible comparison makes sense now.
