You act as if size isn't a huge factor. Crawford is 6'6, Jimmer is 6'2. A better comparison would be a poor man's Ben Gordon. There really just isn't a big market for a short shooting guard that can only shoot, and isn't particularly efficient at it.
Ben Gordon is also a poor comparison. Jimmer has about 1/10 of his athleticism. BG7's rookie season was something else. Has a rookie ever lead the NBA in 4th quarter scoring besides him?
