with the return of J.R. Smith i got to thinking where is Aaron? when will he return? and where will he play?
He's in China. No hurry. He can only go back to Phx this season. But he's pretty much irrelevant nowadays.
Lakers are the perfect fit for the guy with Kobe there. As long as he accepts that he's a role player that is. Otherwise He'll get open shots from the Lakers Big 3, won't have to worry about defense too much when he does get beat with those two big fellas down low, and also when Kobe is out he can stay in and provide a spark.
He's a restricted free agent. If phoenix wants him they can have him. Chances are he won't get a ludicrous deal and so even if he tried signing elsewhere Phoenix could and would easily match it. Plus, before the season started and before the lockout he seemed really open to returning there. Regardless of all this why the hell would he come back here? He was pissed we traded him and he was pissed he lost his starting spot to Kyle. Plus, the last thing we actually need is a small player. We still lack scoring size. He is as bad of a fit for Houston as Houston is a bad for for him...
Loved him when he was here but we've moved on...and his game has gotten progressively worse since the Manu incident.
I hope we take a look at Aaron after we inevitably trade Goran Dragic... Aaron could be the ultimate 6th man...
I would hate to see dragic leave but it seems like everyone is interested in him. He will be a free agent but i do think we have his byrd rights. But if he does leave that opens the door for sergio llull. Im excited to see what this guy can do.
I wouldn't mind seeing AB return if he has screwed his head back on straight, but if his attitude problems remain then I don't want him.
aaron brooks was the reason we were in that 7 game series with the lakers... i was sad to see brooks go.
Yeah I agree, all Ron Artest, Shane, and Yao did was sit there and look pretty. Also Chuck Hayes sucked hard too. AB was good, but come on. Kyle Lowry gives us about 85% of his production but 250% his defense. When you add that to Kyle's ability to pull down rebounds here and there and his ability to light it up beyond the arc it really isn't enough a contest. AB would be a decent back up pg, but not for his price tag.
