Parsons is a better defender than Twill. He is already guarding the opposing teams best perimeter offensive player at the 2 and 3. Twill does a poor job fighting through screens. Combine that with the low energy level he plays at on defense and you have a player that's going to struggle to find minutes in the nba.
I'll say this. If he goes to the Hornets, he will play and possibly flourish. If he goes to the Lakers, it's back to the bench.
He has all the talent in the world, he just needs the right situation. As somebody said NO would be great for him to let him do his thing.
he should play like a SG, try improve his shooting. Stop playing like a PG with poor decision making skills.
21-7-7 I have mentioned many times that my biggest fear is that the Rockets lose Thabeet & T-Will for nothing, and they become serviceable players or even a star in the case of T-Will.
I wish the dude well with his next team and hope he ends up in the right situation. But what I want to know is what the hell is going on with the Rockets that he can't even get on the floor during a blowout?
Terrance Williams = Jeremy lin's bad hair cut next season. By the way, there ought to be a standard to start a thread, like lenth of post. This just feels like 12 year old tweeting.
They are polar opposites. One has a high IQ and gets the most out of his average talent. The other is a r****d with amazing talent that under performs. One is the consummate role model who always puts the team first. The other is a fool who wants to be the man without regard to winning One is humble and lets his actions on the court speak for themselves The other thinks he is special and tweets the world to let them know One thinks all of his opportunities and successes as gifts from God The other thinks his lack of opportunities and failures are everyone else's fault. They are polar opposites
4.2 GPA in High School. 3.1 GPA in Harvard in Economics. He didn't take a BS class like most other athletes would. Not to mention getting into Harvard is no joke, even with a basketball recruitment scholarship he still had to have a high enough GPA to meet the prerequisite. Also come on, dude was juggling college basketball and academics at that time anyway with his main focus on the former.
One of the things that made Lin so popular is that he is a smart, Asian dude that no one really thought could play good basketball. Twill is an African American dumbass who was SUPPOSED to be a really good player.
Everyone that watched him play with NJ knows his potential is off the charts. He had monster games where he completely dominated and set the pace ala LeBron. I really think he will have a good career if he gets 30+ minutes per game with a team that fits.
