No one is in the doghouse except for maybe T-Hype. :p Yes he could have played, no he isn't in the doghouse. Right or wrong, McHale has already shown he will bench anyone.

Bud doesn't match-up well with Beasley. Not enough size to even keep him of the post

He was still in shock over his selection to the dunk contest...head was spinning, needed to sit down.

Some time coaches get locked in on perception and make decisions based upon that perception, but that stops players from being able to grow and to learn from their mistakes.

It was a game that needed offense, and Bud is one of the Rockets best offensive players, IMO, he should have played tonight.

I agree that Bud should have played. Parsons has been playing too many minutes out there and making too many rookie mistakes. Bud on one of his good nights is a far more effective scorer than Parsons.

McHale subconsciously must lose to his former team.

    Parsons has been playing well.

McHale to himself before each game: Hmm, should I play this white dude or that white dude? :)

Chase is 50/50 on offense on any given night and is always horrible on D. Rick and his coaches know this and they immediately go big forcing Chase to check Beasley who by the way is a total mismatch for anyone except for poker face (Parson's). Also, Jordan Hill jogs up and down the court and wants no part of contact in the paint. At least Dalembert and Scola will mix it up but aren't athletic enough to make up for it.
